    Well the cure worked and Roy definitely is not mad any more. So does he remember what he did while he was mirakuru'ed? Killing those cops and trying to kill Thea. If not do he remember joining team Arrow? It would be fun if he does not remember anything. This will kind of reboot Slade. I need this episode right now.

    Since killing is such a taboo now in this show and the destruction of the soul due to it is discussed almost every episode, why is the fact that Laurel killed that fake brother blood never got addressed again. We were never shown her agonizing about that incident. Oliver had a reaction after killing Fyers and that Ivo's hench man. They never showed Sara's first kill but enough talk has been done about her soul being corrupted. Why are we not talking about Laurel's soul. Not that I care about her.

    It's because Laurel's 'soul' doesn't matter as much as the other characters'. She's the biggest mary sue on the show. :/

    The cure means Roy won't have any more rage-fueled blackouts but Roy is still Roy. He'll still have that terrible attitude he always had. As for what Roy remembers, I'm sure he'll remember everything up until Thea's kidnapping when he completely lost it.

    Part of Roy's 'tude was because he didn't know how he fit in, into Team Arrow or into the world, and because he's a young male. (Social scientists have a formula for when the ratio of young men to older men reaches the tipping point to destabilize the country.)


    If they call on him to help save Starling City, it gives him purpose and a way to work off any rage.

    So if we go by that logic when Slade gets cured he will remember everything up to them attacking the amazo and learning about Shado's death. After that every thing will be a blank. This gives me hope that Slade won't die.

    Not the same circumstances. Slade hasn't had any blackouts while going after Oliver in Starling City. Roy though, he was clearly having an episode. He was in some altered state of consciousness brought on by the Thea issue.

    I am not sure Mary Sue is the right term for Laurel. She is the most mishandled character on the show. I am sure they are going to show Thea going down a dark path or may be in to depression because she shot Malcolm or whomever else she shot. When a show gives this much importance to no killing rule, they not acknowledging Laurel killing that guy doesn't make any sense.

    Hmm...Possible. Slade did use Roy to make other mirakuru soldiers. But it will be a bit confusing for audience if Roy gets amnesia and Slade doesn't.

    IDK, Laurel seems to be a pretty flat character trying to be a rounded one. She used to be believable, but now anything she does/ or how she reacts to anything is anything but :/ at least to me, that is. I don't blindly hate Laurel. I just feel like she's just a character I have trouble connecting with/ believing. And putting her 'redemption' (poor choice of words I know, I just don't know what to call it) arc on turbo boost isn't making her anymore believable to me :/ So in a sense, I feel like she's a Mary sue. Or a failed Souffle...

    I say by season 3 Isabel is either dead or in jail.......I think Oliver regain control of the company completely......no way the board of directors would allow a criminal to run QC

    I won't predict how Oliver gets an influx of cash (for all I know, Moira could have had a gigantic life insurance policy) but it's just unreasonable to think that Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity could fight crime full-time when they're all broke. If they tried that, we'd spend two thirds of season three watching these characters at their day jobs.


    "Sorry, I can't help you dismantle the nefarious plot concocted by Malcolm Merlyn. My boss won't let me take the time off." - Stuff like that doesn't make for compelling TV. Know what I mean?

    I was thinking the same thing why Walter did not run for Mayor.......he may have a chance to beat Blood.......he did say he will try to help Thea in any way possible and he still kind of a father figure to Olliver and thea

    There is an open seat in the mayor's office now that Blood is dead so it's not too late for Walter to step up. It probably won't happen but I selfishly want to find a way to keep him around because I like the guy.

    I also thought they should have addressed Laurel's first kill. Not in the sense of it being morally problematic - it was justifiable because she saved the Arrow - but in the sense that killing someone changes you, as has been stated ad nauseam on this show and countless others. She may not feel actual guilt because she understands it had to be done, but the experience should've still shaken her. For someone who is a "civilian", as it were, to take a life is a pretty big deal.

    I'm still so annoyed at the Queens becoming broke after Isabel seized control of QC. That's the kind of unrealistic crap writing that really takes me out of the show. There is. No. Way. Whatsoever. That Moira was dumb enough to have 99.9% of the family's fortune tied up with the company. No. Way. With the amount of moolah they had, she could've tucked away enough to buy them several yachts and a private jet while still investing most in QC. But every last penny, really? All the eggs in the same basket? WTF-ever.

    No billionaire, heck not even normal people like us will not put all our money in one entity. That was stupid just like Moira's trial and Moira running for Mayor. Sad part is they can avoid these idiocies if they put a little bit of work more into such small details. Season 2 is full of plot holes like that. Its like they decide in the writing room "Lets make the Queen's broke" how can we reach there in one episode?

    Yes. That is what I meant. She needed to be shaken about it and some sort of reaction from her side pertaining this event would have been nice. Especially when the show is all about no killing now. I guess they joined this on top of her drinking and wanted us to take that as her reaction. *sigh* I would have liked more acknowledgement from her side.

    And then they gush in interviews about how Arrow is "dark, gritty and realistic, like Nolan's Batman films." Someone needs to hand them a mirror because at this point, I think Mirakuru is one of the least unrealistic aspects of Season 2...

    I just watched the scene again and there was no huge open space. The place looks like a small basement with a much lower ceiling. The foundry is huge in comparison. It's even easier to tell the size difference if you look at the Foundry in season one before Felicity remodeled it.

    I agree. I think they did it because in the comics Oliver does loose his company and property. I am not sure it is to Isabel. Isabel tries to get Oliver's company in the comics too.

    We know they know each other, and Waller knows Oliver is the Arrow, but we have not seen their early meeting. The assumption is she had something to do with the Island.

    Why would I do that? The fact that they can work around it in the comics doesn't mean it works for the screen.

    Do you have evidence of this? Diggle was employed as Oliver's driver as a cover and Felicity was Oliver's personal assistant. Now, at Queen Consolidated, there's no Oliver. What are they doing then? Have either of them mentioned that they're still going to work there? Unless I'm failing to recall something in regards to this, I don't think it's reasonable to assume that either of them are still employed there.

    That doesn't cost them their jobs. More importantly Oliver is going to be broke, they'll (according to the show runner) address it next season. Why is it unreasonable? It doesn't cost a lot to be Green Arrow. He needs a bow, arrows, a hood and a computer. That's not much. Plus character wise it'll be a great opportunity for development.
