"Go save the city" Gee, thanks, Laurel. Never would have thought of that without you.
Maybe I should save my sarcasm. The way Oliver has been acting lately he might have just gone to Big Belly Burger and waited for this all to blow over.
I think that Merlyn saves The from the Mirakuru soldiers, tells her to leave because it's not safe. I honestly don't think it can be Oliver, I'm hoping for a big reveal in the finale where Merlyn tells Oliver "let's put aside our differences for now and kill this as*hat once and for all" :)
Thea was at the station but it's not really possible to definitively say where Merlyn is. All we see is what looks to be a wooden ceiling and dim lighting.
I doubt there will be any other major cast deaths this season, with the exceptions of Slade and Sarah. Though based on trends, I wouldn't be shocked to see Quentin getting killed off next season.
There has not been any indication that sara or slade will died......Quentin is unlikely to be killed off since he is Gordon of Arrow and his role will likely be bigger next season
That blonde woman isn't a major character, she just showed up out of the blue once what's his face left. What was his name? Alex? Laurel's friend? I'm talking about the woman that replaced him, and Laurel is always threatening her to get her way.
Lol. Good point. And he's not even wearing his mask, whoever he's talking to it's someone who knows his identity. That really doesn't narrow it down. = /
I'm surprised Laurel is not worried about Sara. What kind of sister is she? I would freak if my sister just up and left leaving me with a text about 'a change in scenery'... But of course, all her focus is on Oliver :/ Oh Laurel, Laurel, Laurel...
I'm just going to go right ahead and say it. I really don't care if Laurel is central to episode 22 as long as Diggle and Felicity are central to the plot in the finale. Sorry, but if episode 22 was the finale, I would've been way more upset.
It is season seven, Laurel has been training, a great friend to the people around her, helped with her knowledge of the justice system, listens to what people tell her to do and doesn't go rogue. It is season seven and people will still nitpick everything she does.
Felicity: Oliver, go save the city. Everyone: Ooooh, look at Felicity, supporting Oliver, she comes through to him, they are so great for each other. Laurel: Oliver, go save the city. Everyone: Wow Laurel, never would've guessed he had to do that, you're so dumb lol.
And then the bow stuff in the promo? We have seen Laurel kick some butt in season one, it is not that out of the ordinary that she might be strong. A bit unrealistic? Maybe. But man, that girl can't catch a break.
Sorry, I am just really really defensive of Laurel because apparently she can't do anything right.
I need this episode now! Really can't wait for it! And Malcolm, please save your daughter, help Oliver fight Slade and then stick around in Starling City!
I honestly don't hate Laurel's character and I thought she was being written better in the last few episodes. I am also reserving judgement until I see the episode to see how the bow scene goes but to me it's not whether Laurel is a strong character or not strength is something i look for in my favorite characters. My whole issue is how unrealistic it would be and I would have had the same issue for any other character like Roy or Thea do the same I was glad they made Roy see how hard it was in 2x15. Laurel has had some self defense training and a few fight scenes but never anything to indicate any weapons training and in most fighting scenes she is very quickly overcome. Oliver/Sara and Diggle had many years of brutal and extensive fight training to become the fighters that they are and if they make Laurel become like that too fast it is too unrealistic and undermines everything those characters have been through.
What was the time frame between Sara leaving and this happening? I don't think it was that much for even Laurel know that Sara left... And maybe Sara was back already in the scenes shown in the preview.
Actually, Thea had a couple of trophies in her room in the first season which suggested that she already knows how to use a bow. I agree though, with everyone else I don't buy that they would be able to use a bow. Everyone who ever tried knows how difficult it is to even shoot a arrow for a beginner - and Oliver's bow certainly is stringed for his abilities, now for a beginner. Laurel shouldn't be able to even draw it, never mind actually shooting a arrow in the right direction.
Nah, I just hate how this show focuses on romantic love rather than familial. I mean it wasn't the first episode I noticed it. When Laurel first found out about Sara and Oliver who did she go to? Oliver. Did she even try to talk to Sara or comfort Sara? Nope. Then with her speech yesterday, it definitely had romantic undertones which definitely irked me because she spent most of this season and last season hating Oliver that it gave me whiplash to see how fast she changed her thoughts about him. And if it is because she learns about Oliver being the Arrow, then I don't really think she loves Oliver for Oliver, she loves him because He's the Arrow (which in my mind is a lot more shallow). I don't care if she spouted how well she knows him, she really honestly doesn't. She knows Ollie the screw up, but she doesn't know Oliver the man.
I'm gonna do what i do every single year, Ignore everyone's speculation on who's going to die, ignore all the Finale spoilers (like i do with all my shows) and WAIT for the finale. That way i can have more of a shock factor. It works every time. ; )
I 100% doubt Quentin taught Laurel how to use a bow and arrow. Sorry, but these days, people don't learn how to use a bow and arrow for self defense. And I'd like to state again that using a gun and using a bow are two completely different things. While both of them require good aim, a bow is a lot more complicated to use. So I'm not buying the fact that Laurel can miraculously use a bow. I'm chalking it up to luck.
Now... Oliver spend months learning how to use a bow, The Huntress never could learn it, Sarah was trained as an assassin, so she can do it... HOW THE HELL A LAWYER WHO NEVER USED CAN DO IT????
Thea did learn how to use a bow, she even has a prize for it, that was seen in season 1 in her room.
Also it seems, from the preview, that Laurel is not using a normal arrow but an explosive arrow to explode a wall... You don't need that much aim to hit an entire wall as much as you need to hit a moving target like a person.
And we don't know if she is successful or not, yet so many people already judging... It's a preview, they tend to be misleading.
Yeah, I'll just disagree. IMO what's strange is that someone who as far as we know has never picked up a bow and arrow can even nock the thing, much less shoot it straight, regardless of what she's shooting at.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
they're going to need merlyn to save the city aren't they
ReplyDelete"Go save the city" Gee, thanks, Laurel. Never would have thought of that without you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should save my sarcasm. The way Oliver has been acting lately he might have just gone to Big Belly Burger and waited for this all to blow over.
Sounds more like bitterness than sarcasm.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to know who Merlyn is talking to there.
ReplyDeleteIt's either Oliver or Thea and my bet is on Malcolm saving his daughter.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's one of the two but, based on what he's saying in the promo, I'd be inclined to say Oliver.
ReplyDeleteLT Pike asking Quentin to ask arrow for help?
ReplyDeleteI thought she said "Let's save the city"... hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI think that Merlyn saves The from the Mirakuru soldiers, tells her to leave because it's not safe. I honestly don't think it can be Oliver, I'm hoping for a big reveal in the finale where Merlyn tells Oliver "let's put aside our differences for now and kill this as*hat once and for all" :)
ReplyDeleteOkay. I suppose I could see that happening.
ReplyDeleteWell, we all knew Merlyn was coming back, and since he's wearing his hood, he'll be in for the fight. I wonder in which side will Roy fight.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the trainstation, so my guess is Thea..
ReplyDeleteThea was at the station but it's not really possible to definitively say where Merlyn is. All we see is what looks to be a wooden ceiling and dim lighting.
ReplyDeleteI not sure Malcolm showing up to see his daughter wearing his dark archer suit is the best way to meet and greet....
ReplyDeleteTrue, but he's a mass murderer so there really is no way to make a good first impression.
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell is Sara in all this I would think Laurel know that BC is Sara and get her to join Ollie in battle
ReplyDeleteWhen did Laurel learn archery or is she just lucky or a natural?
ReplyDeleteThere's the nice shot line....Who's screaming Please help? Quentin please don't die. That blonde woman OTOH, she can go. Lol
ReplyDeleteI think she's gone to get help from a friend and some more. She'll be back.
ReplyDeleteI doubt there will be any other major cast deaths this season, with the exceptions of Slade and Sarah. Though based on trends, I wouldn't be shocked to see Quentin getting killed off next season.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone kill Ravager aka Isabel......so Queen family get back their company
ReplyDeleteThere has not been any indication that sara or slade will died......Quentin is unlikely to be killed off since he is Gordon of Arrow and his role will likely be bigger next season
ReplyDeleteTeam Arrow's alongside (hopefully) Malcolm and (apparently) the League of Assassins.
ReplyDeleteThat blonde woman isn't a major character, she just showed up out of the blue once what's his face left. What was his name? Alex? Laurel's friend? I'm talking about the woman that replaced him, and Laurel is always threatening her to get her way.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Diggle kills her.
ReplyDeleteHer father taught her how to use a gun so I guess it might be possible she was trained with other weaponry, although it could be luck.
ReplyDeleteLol. Good point. And he's not even wearing his mask, whoever he's talking to it's someone who knows his identity. That really doesn't narrow it down. = /
ReplyDeleteLaurel figured out Sara's identity last episode, she just didn't bring it up yet. Well the episode before I believe it was.
ReplyDeleteShe did.
ReplyDeleteLOL Laurel... Calm down, you barely made a scratch on one of the Mirakuru soldiers, I doubt you can help save the city.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Laurel is not worried about Sara. What kind of sister is she? I would freak if my sister just up and left leaving me with a text about 'a change in scenery'... But of course, all her focus is on Oliver :/ Oh Laurel, Laurel, Laurel...
ReplyDelete= P.
ReplyDeleteYou're right and that is even worse.
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to go right ahead and say it. I really don't care if Laurel is central to episode 22 as long as Diggle and Felicity are central to the plot in the finale. Sorry, but if episode 22 was the finale, I would've been way more upset.
ReplyDeletemy Aunty Eva recently got a nice 12 month old Audi allroad
ReplyDeleteWagon by working off of a macbook... look at this site CashDuties.ℂom
Yes, Laurel, Yes!!
ReplyDeleteIt is season seven, Laurel has been training, a great friend to the people around her, helped with her knowledge of the justice system, listens to what people tell her to do and doesn't go rogue. It is season seven and people will still nitpick everything she does.
ReplyDeleteFelicity: Oliver, go save the city.

That is Kate Spencer the DA. Not Laurel's friend. The one Laurel blackmails.
ReplyDeleteWhat is OTOH ??
ReplyDeleteThnk Merlyn will make a dea with Thea, if he helps save the city she will come with him.
ReplyDeleteThey're going to need Merlyn to stick around for like....the next 100 episodes ?
ReplyDeleteChain Malcolm up and never let him go !
I am right there with you! It's ridiculous! Some people are literally grasping at straws now just to continue to have something to hate her for.
ReplyDeleteGET OVER IT!
I hope the writers keep adding her into the story and fledging out her character bc I'm all in for it!
They should definitely do that!
ReplyDeleteYeah...I don't think killing the CEO of a company helps you to take control over it
ReplyDeleteI need this episode now! Really can't wait for it! And Malcolm, please save your daughter, help Oliver fight Slade and then stick around in Starling City!
ReplyDeleteit's simple.. when someone is annoying everything the person does or say becomes annoying...
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't hate Laurel's character and I thought she was being written better in the last few episodes. ReplyDeleteWas that Thea when Oliver said nice shot?
ReplyDeleteno it's Laurel the red jacket is a dead giveaway.
ReplyDeletethanks was kinda hard to tell
ReplyDeleteno worries.
ReplyDeleteon the other hand
ReplyDeleteActually, Thea had a couple of trophies in her room in the first season which suggested that she already knows how to use a bow.

ReplyDeleteCam responded for me. It means On the other hand. ; )
ReplyDeleteNooo not saying the woman Kate is Laurel's friend. I was talking about Andrew. Think that was his name. He was her friend. (sort of).
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna do what i do every single year, Ignore everyone's speculation on who's going to die, ignore all the Finale spoilers (like i do with all my shows) and WAIT for the finale. That way i can have more of a shock factor. It works every time. ; )

Oliver tells her "nice shot." She's successful, unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll just disagree. IMO what's strange is that someone who as far as we know has never picked up a bow and arrow can even nock the thing, much less shoot it straight, regardless of what she's shooting at.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome.
