    That's because his loyalties lie with Garrett, not Hydra. Garrett has been manipulating and abusing Ward this entire time.

    it possible that someone in hydra might not like what Garrett is planning and decide to kill him......would be interesting if there is some internal struggle within HYDRA.......I expecting there is someone far worse than Garrett out there
