YES YES YES! Seriously one my favorite shows ever!
ReplyDeleteNot really a surprise.
ReplyDeleteYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
ReplyDeleteYay! I've been waiting for this one! I'm ecstatic!
ReplyDeleteSCORE!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am quite happy about this but I can't believe that ABC not only renewed the low-rated SHIELD but doubled down and ordered another Marvel series as well. That's crazy.
ReplyDeleteYES OMG!
ReplyDeleteI knew it! As soon as Agent Carter was ordered I knew AoS was the next thing to be renewed!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic news!! Now, the only thing ABC need to do is change the time (and day?). It shouldn't go up against NCIS. What does everyone else think?
ReplyDeleteManhattan Love Story sounds like Something i could watch xD... Happy for SHIELD Fans
ReplyDeleteStupidest idea they've ever had to put a brand new show in direction competition with one of the most viewed shows on television.
ReplyDeleteYES! ONCE, RESURRECTION, AND SHIELD! BLESSED BE UPON IS-ABC! :DDD
ReplyDeleteTotally agree :) If ABC want SHIELD to stick around it should air on a different day.
ReplyDeleteHELLS YEA!!!!!
ReplyDeletefinally confirmed! but please move the day to a different time maybe monday before castle
ReplyDeleteFinally.
ReplyDeleteif they want stable rating......put it on Monday
ReplyDeleteThanks for replying back. Okay...so Monday. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteI knew it had to be, but yay for a confirmation!
ReplyDeleteSo happy about this! Love AoS!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Now let's make season 3 happen! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I am so happy right now.
ReplyDeleteI'll be catching up with AoS this summer while waiting for season 2
ReplyDeleteYES!!! Awesome news!! Today is a good day for my favorite shows!
ReplyDeleteYIPPEEEEEEEE I WAS WAITIN FOR THIS ONE ALL IT TOOK WAS 1 EPI AND THIS SHOW SUCKED ME IN
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!
ReplyDeleteCoulson lives :)
BEST NEWS!!! Finally some sleep :)
ReplyDeleteVery good news, now i hope Ward will stay in main cast!
ReplyDeleteG.R.E.A.T. news, hopefully Cobie Smulders can join the show, or recur more in the show, I just love Maria Hill!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news! I really hope they do the Zodiac storyline and upgrade Garrett, Raina, Triplett and Mike to regulars!
ReplyDeleteAWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE SAUCE
ReplyDeleteThe show has gotten infinitely better since the Lorelei episode. Seriously, TWS was the best thing that could have possibly happened to this show.
ReplyDeleteHAIL ABC!!!
ReplyDeleteNow can it make it to a third season, that's the question. No Joss Whedon show has done that in a LONG time.
ReplyDeleteI think she will be since Cobie don't have a new show........she probably be recruiting status that shows us as Liaison between stark and the team
ReplyDeleteYes! Expected but still awesome news.
ReplyDeleteI think it does pretty well where it is. The important thing is to build the audience going into S2. The show has gotten a lot better. If they put it on Netflix before S2 starts some of the people who jumped ship early on might come back.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately it is rumored that SHIELD won't be on Netflix until 2015 which would be a huge mistake, imo.
Thank god, was starting to worry!!! Awesome, now all my favourite shows are coming back :D
ReplyDeletePeople are really surprised? Really? How?
ReplyDeleteOH yea.
ReplyDeleteand with more Marvel Movies coming, I look forward to more connection, and more changes post movies.
Yay! So glad that Agents of SHIELD got renewed!
ReplyDeleteWoah I just realized that towards the end of this second season the show and the second Avengers movie are going to intersect, I foresee a great season coming up.
ReplyDeletei knew it!!! and Agent Carter been picked up
ReplyDeleteit needs to move to 9pm. it did great that onetime it was there
ReplyDeleteYAY! I'm so happy about this one :)
ReplyDeleteYeah the showrunners talked about creating a larger role for her in S2, as people have previously said Cobie has moved to NY full time now to be with her family so she probably won't be a regular but I hope she reoccurs more.
ReplyDeleteHell yes, knew it was coming hoped we would know before the upfronts. Hail SHIELD!
ReplyDeletewell since we know Maria Hill will be working for Stark maybe she can bring coulson and the team some new equipment/technology from Stark.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm dreaming, please no one wake me up. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteYep that would be great, especially if she keeps having phone-calls with Pepper complaining about her bad day!
ReplyDeleteIn the end its all about the Marvel brand, plus all the other Networks apart from CBS seem to be getting into the superhero/comics game so ABC might as well use the Marvel brand to see what works or not.
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS THE BEST NEWS. My SHIELD babies are coming back! Agent Carter! Couldn't be happier, thanks, ABC.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't have low ratings. It had ratings lower than were expected of such show.
ReplyDeleteHail Hydra!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt does have low ratings by any objective standard. If ABC/Disney wasn't so invested in the Marvel brand SHIELD would have gotten the axe.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!!!! JUST Fucking YES!
ReplyDeletewooo hooo great news! the Agents of Coulson live on.....
ReplyDeleteI hope that he is staying for second season too, great news!
ReplyDeleteObviously..
ReplyDeleteYou should! I liked the show in the first half but it's one of my absolute favorites must see TV hours since the winter episodes, it's amazing now!
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget Net Flix has five series based upon the MU in development as well. That's 7 which crossover and movies.
ReplyDeleteIt had fairly high ratings for a first year series, the highest of ABC's batch last I looked.
ReplyDeleteIts a great time to be MCU fan
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why ABC doesn't move established (and in some cases, declining) shows to face off against new shows on other networks. More than likely, their viewers will move to a different night with the show they've watched for years.
ReplyDeleteThe way that tweet is written, it kinda sounds like Agent Carter and Manhattan Love Story are both Marvel shows haha!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteAbout freaking time, ABC. But anyway, woohoo! Even though this was basically a sure thing. :-)
ReplyDeleteHigher ratings than ABC's average, which is what matters ultimately. There's no "objective" standard for ratings, you just need to do better than the competition.
ReplyDeleteI didn't care much for the pilot and I have been stocking episodes ever since, but after seeing the new Captain America movie I got really curious about the whole Hydra arc, so I'll be surely catching up!
ReplyDeleteYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, this was a no-brainer. Regardless of show ratings, or # of viewers, ABC is owned by Disney. Marvel is owned by Disney. And Agents of Shield still makes them a ton of extra cash, in between the MCU movies.
ReplyDeleteGreat news:)
ReplyDeleteIt's one of these shows that get WAY better over the course of the season. I also found myself struggling to continue after the first 4 or so episodes, but boy, am I glad I did. The second half and especially the last third of the season are utterly kickass.
ReplyDeleteThey should do more cross-promotion with the MCU since that's where the big audience potential is really at, I think. I don't get why they didn't even say the words, "a crossover with Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in the 1x17 promo. Or "Cobie Smulders returns as Agent Maria Hill" in the one for 1x20.
ReplyDeleteA 1.9 demo and a little over 5 million viewers isn't high for any series that doesn't air on a Friday.
ReplyDeleteAverage rating means very little. That average takes into account the huge numbers SHIELD pulled for its first two episodes and the vast majority of those people no longer watch. It's the week-to-week ratings that count and SHIELD's current ratings just aren't good. Lucky for them, every new ABC drama except for Resurrection was a failure.
ReplyDeleteYay!!!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't lose another one. I just saw that Believe and Commm
ReplyDeleteOh, nice, I didn't know that AoS made good money. I thought the ratings were na indication that it didn't really make much and it is an expensive show. If it actually makes money than maybe there is indeed a chance for a season 3, especially not that she show has gotten better.
ReplyDeleteI just saw Community was canceled an hour ago. Ruined my day :(
