"Marvel's Agent Carter," starring Captain America's Hayley Atwell follows the story of Peggy Carter. It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life--Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter."
Starring Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, "Marvel's Agent Carter" is executive produced by Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Jeph Loeb.

Nice poster.
ReplyDeleteLets just hope the show is good, but i like the poster.
ReplyDeleteI can't stop calling this "Agents of Carter" in my head. LOL, I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteMe too, I even posted Agents of Carter in the title of this post and the pick up announcement and had to change it, lol
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! Great artwork, hope they do posters for every episode like AOS has been doing lately.
ReplyDeleteIs Dominic Cooper gonna be a regular?
ReplyDeleteNo news about that ye, but maybe. He isn't committed to any other shows.
ReplyDeleteI saw something about him maybe being recurring? But I only saw that on Tumblr so not sure how legitimate it is.
ReplyDeleteThe officiate show description has this Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark so he will be in it in some form, last I heard it was likely to be reoccurring rather than regular.
ReplyDeleteSo what do we categorize this as ?
ReplyDeleteA Captain America spin-off ?
A Agents of SHIELD spin-off/prequel ?
I'm excited, I totally dug the one-shot
First promo on the AoS season finale?
ReplyDeleteI keep doing it so the permanent title is now Agents of Carter. I give up.
ReplyDeleteIt was a straight to series order, so they haven't shot anything. Hence, there won't be a promo anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteIf the series order came a month ago (certainly came a few weeks before the announcement) they could already have kicked off shooting or at least location scouting
ReplyDeleteI love the more old school and comics look.
ReplyDeleteLooks more "drawn" and worn out, I like it!!
Only a couple of weeks ago the talk started that it might get a straight to series order. Plus, they haven't cast the secondary roles yet. And an official greenlight is needed for production to begin, I think.
ReplyDeletethe news about being greenlit officially rarely comes at the same day the show was comissioned, at least regarding such a high profile product wich certainly required some negotiations.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly sure how much time they had but I'm fairly certain they will have shot SOME material already
Captain America spin-off. It has nothing to do with AoS. The Cap movie writers are writing this, and the other Whedon and his team are sticking to AoS.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will use some footage from the one-shot production.
ReplyDeleteI know this is a silly question, but will Agent Carter premiere this fall or will they start showing it later?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will take scenes form the Marve One Shot?
ReplyDeleteCaptain America prequel
ReplyDeleteLater. Apparently Agents of SHEILD will air in to uninterrupted blocks in the fall and spring, and Agent Carter will air int eh gap between the two half seasons.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :) Just like the ABC Family shows do. Gah! I can't wait either way! Hope it doesn't get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little bit scared because NBC cancelled Revolution and Community yesterday but then again, ABC is not NBC. Agent Carter should do good. I'm guessing Dominic Cooper will join the show as well, at some point.
ReplyDeleteYes, like you said.
ReplyDeleteHoward Stark is mentioned in the plot for the shows, so it looks like it.
But that'd be a pointless promo.
ReplyDeleteWe'll probably get the first promo on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier DVD/Blu-ray (in August). Seems like it'd fit.
ReplyDeleteI repeat: Dominic Cooper and Tommy Lee Jones need to be regulars in this.... or at the very least heavily recurring...
ReplyDeleteOne can hope. And dream. And deeeeeeply root for it.
ReplyDeleteAnd dont Forget Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan. I like him in the Comics.
ReplyDeleteDude! Yes!!! Actually, get all the Howling Commandos in there!
