I LOVED Trophy Wife, why!!!
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people loved Trophy Wife but I always felt the whole was less than the sum of its parts. Bert was definitely the best part of the show (IMHO) and ABC should try keeping him and throwing him into another sitcom.

ReplyDeleteI'm not upset about Mixology...if and only if what I've heard is true and that it was meant to have a revolving cast. If the finale is a real ending then I'm gravy, it's ABC's funniest comedy IMO but it feels like a miniseries anyway.

ReplyDeleteTrophy Wife was among one of the best comedies of 2013-14 season. I loved all the characters. It's going to be so hard watching the finale next week knowing it's the last episode. :(

ReplyDeleteSo sad about Trophy Wife even if I knew it was doomed by yet another bad title for a comedy by ABC (See Don't Trust The Bitch and Cougar Town). I am grateful it got a full season though, it was nice to spend time with that collective bunch of funny characters.

ReplyDeleteI personally didn't mind it but I don't think it went down well with many people. I know coming up with titles must be hard but they really need to do some audience research before launching some of these shows!

ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the pre-premiere promos II expected both to be cancelled before their seasons ended, so the only surprise is they lasted as long as they did.
ReplyDeleteThat said, Trophy Wife was funnier than I expected. Sadly it was doomed from the start for having that specific title.
Figured this was coming, but still sad.

ReplyDeleteOhhhh, sad about Trophy Wife. I really thought that, throughout the season, it had found its voice, its place, its way. It was really good and funny. Too bad. What I'll miss the most about it is definitely Burt. That boy is amazingly funny.
