  1. What's this about?

  2. Ooh, here for this! I love Cristin.

  3. I like Cristin Milioti but I'm totally burned out on relationship/dating comedies and half-hour comedies that mutate into relationship comedies. (I'm looking at you, New Girl.)

  4. The story of a couple relationship, from meeting to break-up.

  5. I guess I'll give it a try.

  6. None related: I can smell an announcement over Community's future soon

  7. Which comedy will be next, make your guesses people.

  8. Love Cristin so I'll be checking this out :)

  9. I think today's is the day of NBC pick-ups. They seem to be alternating days.

  10. That probably should be paired with Marry Me (which I'm looking forward to because of the cast/crew).

Okay, time to stop picking up comedy pilots and let's start renewing some comedies on the bubble (by which I mean About a Boy, obviously, and perhaps Community too, I guess a sixth season would be fine, I'm totally not stressing out now).

  11. If not today, maybe tomorrow, but I feel we're going to know before Saturday

  12. I'm very interested in this. Will give it a shot!

  13. I want Bad Judge for Kate Walsh and One Big Happy for Elisha Cuthbert but I think it's gonna be Mission Control with Kristen Ritter.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I'm going with Bad Judge.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope it's The Pro since Rob Lowe is awesome, but I don't think it will make the cut

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm getting more and more nervous as the day goes on.

  17. Yep, that's what I meant my alternating days. Day before they picked up a few shows, yesterday was a renewal, today more pickups, so tomorrow more renewal/cancellations decisions.

  18. UPDATE: No more comedy pickups for now, possibly done for the day.

  19. I'm pretty confident, though the twitter from the exec producer saying "it's dead" is not really a good sign. My chances have lowered from 80% to 70%, but I still expect it to be renewed for a final 7-13 episodes season. Heck, it wouldn't even surprise me if they renewed for 3 episodes to get to 100, though it would be pretty stupid to renew a show just for 3 episodes, but well... it could happen

  20. Here's an update on Community: https://twitter.com/KateAurthur/status/464467022282489857

  21. I want it to be Mission Control, Feed Me, Old Soul, Bad Judge or The Pro.

  22. I agree, which is sad. I loved him on Parks and Rec.

    ReplyDelete
  23. And at the end the story is actually about how the guy is in love with someone else and is telling his kids how he dated their mother because... ops, wrong show.

  24. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Well, a few years ago someone said the same about Nikita and still got renewed for S3, so it could play out like that.
But it's a very, very bad sign. Come on NBC! Just a 6 episode final season!

  25. What about it?

  27. Don't lose hope just yet! And you're right, it could be a surprise renewal ala Nikita.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Is it the last? Surely there's more with all the pilots and the buzz for Old Soul, Bad Judge, Feed Me, and Mission Control.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes!!!, Christin Miloti! She's awesome

    ReplyDelete
  30. That woman works for Buzzfeed, not exactly what I'd call a TV site.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I wonder what happened if this is true, it seemed to be looking a lot better earlier this week. Hope its not more behind the scenes drama.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Although, Buzzfeed is mainly not a TV site, they were still right about Community's demise.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't know if you heard, but Feed Me has been passed on, Old Soul is still alive.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I thought Old Soul was passed too. Not sad over that, Amy Poehler is one of my many Gods, but given how Parenthood is still in limbo, and the schedule is happening in a few hours, I wonder what's gonna happen.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Deadline is reporting that the show is alive again, negotiations with the studios probably but those hardly ever work.

    ReplyDelete
  36. (squeezes fist) Damn finale.

    ReplyDelete
  37. So this show is about how they get together and ends with them breaking up? I don't get it. Why would we go through the emotional trauma of falling in love with a couple only to have the finale be the demise of their relationship?
