Technically it isn't the 200th episode since this series is a totally new one from the 24 that was on before.
ReplyDeleteIs it totally new? There's still Jack, Chloe and Audrey. He's still killing terrorists and yelling 'Damn it Chloe'. It seems like pretty much the same show as before.
ReplyDeleteIf it was the same they would have just named it "24" like before and not have the "Live Another Day" added. Plus it would have to be 24 episodes in the season to be called the same show. This one only has 12.
ReplyDeleteShows change the amount of episodes each season has all the time. And the 'Live Another Day' line is just marketing. 24 is unique in that each season they change out the majority of the cast, all it needs to be 24 is Jack Bauer.

ReplyDeleteThey don't all have the same protagonist. Jack Bauer defines 24. I'm not going to disregard 8 seasons because they fiddled with the format a little.
