Voted for Jason and Gene
ReplyDeleteIt´s funny how nobody thinks it´s Miles. I guess that´s pretty obvious, but I put him there anyway :D
ReplyDeleteI'm more surprised that there are apparently people who think it might be Charlie.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don´t think so either, but if they want to shock us, they won´t go with the obvious choice. I really hope it´s not anyone from Miles/Monroe/Charlie, it would be hard for me to watch it :(
ReplyDeleteI don't think the show would even work without Charlie. She's always been set up as the gateway character for the audience, and basically all character relationships on the show involve her in some way.
ReplyDeleteI'm not particularly worried for Miles, Monroe and Rachel either, and they already killed Aaron once, so I figure he's safe.
Good thinking :) I really thinks it´s gonna be Jason. I read somewhere he already has a new show in development or something like that.
ReplyDeleteConnor. It'll push Bass over the edge, he's already been heading back to General Monroe...
ReplyDeleteGotta be Jason
ReplyDeleteStill think Rachel would be a gutsy choice with the biggest impact on the characters, but the writers won't go there.
ReplyDeleteI'll be shocked if it isn't Jason who will die tomorrow
Maybe they want to shock us, but I really hope they don´t :D
ReplyDeleteI'm think Jason :(
ReplyDeleteOh God, I can't even deal with this right now. No clue.
ReplyDeleteI´m nervous about it too, you have no idea. While I was creating it and adding names I was like ,,please let it not be you" :D
ReplyDeleteMine is mostly because I'm still reeling from HIMYM and the thought of a character death is exhausting.
ReplyDeleteI'll go for Gene.
That made me angry too. The End of the Aisle was the finale for me and nothing after that happened.
ReplyDeletePriscilla!
ReplyDeleteWell, we saw Charlie in a position to die in the previews... so it OBVIOUSLY can't be her. Gotta be Rachel, she's been getting slowly and slowly more unlikable as the series goes on.
ReplyDeleteIf it's MIles or Charlie they may as well cancel the show IMO.... Miles caries the show and while I'm not always a fan of Charlie, she's just too important to kill off.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think one of them will die in series finale, hope it´s not this season tho.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go with Jason, he's barely had a storyline this season and I feel like Connor has taken his place
ReplyDeleteJason or Gene.
ReplyDeleteGene has the perfect set up for a meaningful death.
However the press release suggests that Jason makes "a stand" and thus there could be an obvious parallel here with Danny. Plus JD Prado has been cast in a CW pilot so it seems likely he will be gone before the season ends. Personally I hope it's not Jason yet. Think he stands for something good and he has a really unfair set-up. Plus not sure how much this helps the story along, unless the plan is make Tom the greatest villain in the series...
That would be my third choice. But despite that I never felt those two characters were right for each other, I kind of hope for Aaron's sake he can save her and come to terms with her. He has just lost so much already. -But I can see how he could get carried away not realizing that Priscilla is not a manifestation/astral projection like Cynthia, but rather the nanites have been using her body as a host, and accidentally kills her...
ReplyDeleteI hope Connor dies before the season is over.
ReplyDeleteJason is the obvious choice because the actor got cast in a CW show. I think Gene will die too but closer to the season finale.
ReplyDeleteI wish they would kill off Connor.
Disagree. Rachel I think is becoming more and more a voice of reason so that our gang doesn't get completely caught up in mindless fighting. She may not be "fun" at this point, but she's making good points leading to what the series is actually about...a good reason to fight and having standards.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be Jason. But I want Aaron to die, because his storyline is so appalling.
ReplyDeleteAs you know, we disagree about Rachel and that's ok..makes for interesting discussions. I am not sure if it's the actress or the lack of development from the writers, but I just don't buy this "new and improved" Rachel. To me, she is a hypocrite right now and I am just waiting for something to happen to make her go all crazy again. Again, I know where the writers want to take her character, but at the moment it's not working for me. She has been unreasonable, self-righteous and impulsive for most of the series (even in flashbacks) and suddenly she has turned into this reasonable being who keeps the others from falling off the deep end again?
ReplyDeleteI guess you could argue that having Miles finally admit his feelings to her changed her, but again, when you watch her in the first few episodes after that, all she does is have a long suffering look on her face or a smirk when things didn't turn out the way Miles/Monroe thought they should. Again...maybe it's the actress that is getting on my nerves, but I am just not buying Rachel as the voice of humanity/reason for our group of anti-heroes.
I do believe her death would have the biggest impact on all of the character's story lines and each of them would react differently. I also think the characters (mainly Miles and Charlie) would be able to realize on their own that mindless killing is counter active even without Rachel's constant voice in their ears...and you'd also still have Gene who makes a much more convincing voice for humanity in my opinion.
Tracy is working tomorrow, that should mean Charlie is not the one dying. Well, I´ve already thought so anyway :D
ReplyDeleteWell I think Monroe, Miles, Tom, Rachel, Julia, and the Patriots are all huge hypocrites. (I think Charlie, Conner, Jason are still young and still learning) I think Elizabeth Mitchel tends to rub some people the wrong way, because she usually plays parts where's she's mysteriously not forth coming, but yet she does this questionable things and suddenly gets emotional and for some reason, people find it offensive.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that I don't agree that her story couldn't of been handled better, but the characters I think seem to take two steps forward and then 10 steps back and they seem to really drag out everyone's story for the past 6-8 episodes. But part of the reason I think that happens is because they can't just turn around and have everyone good, perfect, or better to fast, if they're not at the end of their story yet...
It's not that think Rachel is a saint, won't continue to struggle/have problems, but she and her father are really the only two people who are starting to think about what's really going on here and ask questions. I can't say the same for most of the other characters since Bass wants his Republic back, Miles himself forgot what he is doing, The nanites are blackmailing Aaron, Charlie doesn't seem to value her future, Tom is trying to save and avenge Julia, Jason is just along for the ride and can go Rambo at any moment, and Conner is kind of stuck under his father's thumb.
"I do hope that Jason (and I am convinced it's him) will die a hero's death (esp since his character has been so neglected this season), as I could see this affect Charlie as well. He is her "first love" afterall so his death (especially if he saves her or somebody else) might make her pause about her own reasons to fight, which seems to be the theme for most of the remaining episodes this season."
ReplyDeleteI think that's exactly the way it will go!
I love his story line because it perfectly contrasts the Patriots, but also because I'm not sure to what end the nanites are working towards. It's just like all the other stories, it's been spun and dragged out a little too long, but I think he's a character that has been so admittedly against anything bigger and all of his relationships seem to suffer from it, that he represents whatever it is the writers are ultimately going to say about the role of the nanites in this universe.
ReplyDeleteI've been against the nanite story all season. And Aaron hasn't been great this season imo.
ReplyDeleteSame here, the God/Nannites-are-you-there-it's-me-Aaron shenanigans is not interesting to me. It literally and figuratively is a deus-ex-machina plot device.
ReplyDeleteI think it´s Jason, oh wait, I was right :D
