  1. What I liked about the brothers is not around any longer, the Jerk/bitch, the pranking, the hugs. Still love the guys, but Carver has killed most of the family comes first part of the series.

  2. Definitely do not love the co-depency and repeated self sacrifice. That's been the most tedious aspects of the relationship for several seasons now.

  3. Ah looking at that list makes me miss the Kripke era so much. Season 1 − 5. Sigh.

(Carver especially messed up the sacrifice themselves for each other part, for the sake of drama. Yuck.)

All of the above. Not so much the co-dependcy part though.

Not on the list: Rock, paper, scissors - especially the time Dean finally chose paper instead of scissors, and Sam was surprised. lol

  4. So hard to only pick three! I love so much about Sam and Dean--their love for each other, the way they look out for each other, the fact that no one will ever be more important or come between them, that they are soulmates and share a heaven....There are just so many things to love about these brothers, making us pick just three is mean ;)

  5. It was killed before Carver

  6. He sure has. He killed everything I enjoyed about the show, esp. the sacrificing themselves for each other aspect and co-dependency.
I never had a problem w/them being co-dependent since they're fictional characters living in a crazy world. If I wanted to see characters in healthy relationships, I would have started watching a different show.

  7. Self-sacrifice, hunting, courage, their own lexicon, wordless conversations, co-dependency, and joking around with each other are huge. But I miss most of all the feeling that it was the brothers against the world, not the brothers and the angel and the demon and the kid and that other guy and extra #254 and the newest resurrectee and the lady who sells the sandwiches and.......

  8. Too Awkward to answer, but I choose The way they affectionately address each other as 'Jerk' 'Bitch'.

  9. Carver didn't kill it, Kripke did in season 4, then Gamble did, and now Carver is just following suit. I've yet to see Sam really care about his brother since season 4, so, yeah, the great brotherly bond has become a myth. It never really existed, and the bitch, jerk was great, but knowing what I know now? I feel that it was just a front.
Too bad. The show could have gone with the brothers learning to love each other, not just Dean having to learn over and over to love Sam more and more, while Sam needed to just love himself more and more. What a joke the brotherly bond has become.

  10. I would say their eternal co-dependency, but it looks like that might be one sided now. Also, anyone notice how SPN fans are the worst complainers? That is why I usually avoid all SPN related comments on here. SPN fans are such downers sometimes.
