It is a beautiful promo, but I'm not sure what it is about. Is this a show about a guy that is hired by a "nice" tyrant and moves there with his family and the tyrant reveals himself to be super evil?
The main character (guy in the promo) has lived in the United States for twenty years. He returns home to a Middle Eastern country with his family (not sure if his family knows the truth about who their father/husband is) where his father (supposedly based on Bashar Al-Assad) is the president. His mother is a British woman who appears to be still married to the father.
Tyrant tells the story of an unassuming American family drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. Bassam “Barry” Al Fayeed (Adam Rayner), the younger son of the dictator of a war-torn nation, ends a self-imposed 20-year exile to return to his homeland, accompanied by his American wife and children, for his nephew’s wedding. Barry’s reluctant homecoming leads to a dramatic clash of cultures as he is thrown back into the familial and national politics of his youth.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Might give this a go.

ReplyDeleteStupidest promo. Unless it's really a perfume ad and the promo didn't play... oh well.
