I'm with you on that one and my money is on Tyler. He hasn't had a proper storyline for what feels like an eternity. Giving him so much screen time in the last episodes might be a way to prepare his death... If that makes sense...
I don't think so, it would feel really repetitive even for this show. I'm thinking that maybe she's forced to work with Markos. He has total control of the town apparently so it would make sense... But i'm really intrigued by this still of Damon, alone in front of the Mystic Falls sign... Due to the synopsis and this still i'm convinced they're going to destroy Mystic Falls. He'd prefer to destroy it than letting it in the hands of the travelers. Besides, that would explain some of the things Paul Wesley teased recently regarding next season.
You're right and I'm wrong, Amber. I just read the season finale synopsis and it definitely seems like Liz is operating under duress. She does not have a passenger.
Damon looking forlorn with a bottle, sat on his car, looking at the MF sign....An no clear mention of Stefan. I always wanted Stefan to die briefly so I could see the true grief from Damon not getting his brother back for good. That was during S3/4.....am I going to get to see now.....just wish Elena wasn't in the picture cause you know it'll all be about hers or DE's grief not Damon's alone!
They changed the person getting the cure from Damon to Katherine. In the books it was Damon. I wonder if they are going to make Stefan an Angel instead of Elena. That way he doesn't get a romantic ending but pace in Heaven will DE become endgame on a happy note?
I am not into the shipper stuff of TVD and TO, but I wouldn't mind it in the least if the writers want to go down the route of a Caroline/Stefan relationship in S6. If they have a plan/idea and want to follow through with it (despite rabid shippers, outraged fans etc), I, as a viewer, would applaud them for being brave and sticking to their version of the story and not what the fans 'want'
Which he did for Elena more than himself. Season 1/2 Damon was always pushing Stefan to embrace the ripper, which is why he kept pushing him to drink human blood. But all those times Damon was under the impression that Stefan will still be around. I always wanted to see Damon with the knowledge that Stefan is truely gone. Out of this life for good. No more one liners but real grief of losing his little brother. That was before TVD made death insignificant 😒 An honestly since S4 Damon hasn't given a fig about Stefan or his feelings. Call me old fashioned but I think being the big brother Damon should look out for Stefan more.....like Stefan does him.
Elena doesn't look happy with Caroline. Considering some of the recent spoilers she might have a reason. ;) Not a good one considering who she's been shacking up with, but still a reason.
"Which he did for Elena more than himself." That's one opinion, sure. Not mine though.
"Call me old fashioned but I think being the big brother Damon should look out for Stefan more.....like Stefan does him." Stefan hasn't exactly needed much of that, has he? Except for the PTSD which Caroline & Katherine took care of, there hasn't been many instances in the past few seasons where Damon needed to look after his brother.
Maybe so. I'm just going to be really annoyed if the spoiler is about Steroline and Elena gets in the way of it. Whether you ship them or not, Elena has zero ground to stand on. She's already hypocritical to the point of being annoying. This would make me kinda hate her.
I just want the brothers relationship to be given more spotlight. Both boys have different personalities and methods, but in the old seasons they could show they equally cared with a good punch up, now all I see or hear about them is weighted with their ships. I am sooooo tired of this triangle. It existed in the books but lord not to this level.
I understand the personal investment in the show. I have a few shows I watch like that. Besides, whether someone is a reader of the books or not, I think most people would agree that a stronger focus on the Salvatore relationship would make the show stronger.
It looks like everyone is going to have a confrontation with Elena. The way Damon is touching her hair, it looks like he's saying goodbye. Either Elena is somehow human again and Damon knows he doesn't have a chance with her that way, or Damon is dead in the photo with Bonnie. Either way, that picture of Damon sitting on the hood of a car, with booze, near the city limit sign makes it a sure bet that the show is taking a page out of the books and Damon is leaving for some reason. I think Tyler/Julian will get thrown out of town because Julian will refuse to give up Tyler's body, and Tyler being a hybrid might make it impossible for the immortality spell to be reversed on him. If that's the case, the only way for the Travelers to get rid of him would be to exile him. I think Elena will get confronted by both Damon and Caroline because she will somehow cause Stefan to die or get lost in what's left of the Other Side. It just occurred to me that the score Bonnie will settle might be with Damon. Bonnie might actually kill him. I don't know how that would fit into his plan, but I did read that he's going to "put on his hero hair." Damon dying might be part of the plan somehow. Damon could also get himself sacrificed to bring Stefan back. That would cause a lot of problems. If Damon dies to bring Stefan back and Caroline plays too large of a role in that, Stefan will not welcome any advances from her. I'm not saying he'd want to be with Elena, but he would carry too much guilt to want a relationship with Caroline either. I don't think Elena and Caroline will fight over Stefan in the season finale. Nina Dobrev said after the season was wrapped that so far, Elena has no idea that Caroline has feelings for Stefan. It's probably just another one of their misplaced arguments like when Caroline harassed Elena about Damon because Caroline secretly wanted to sleep with Klaus.
Elena requires both Stefan & Damon to only want her. Elena was not okay with either one of them hooking up with Rebekah for example (even though she knew Rebekah was Stefan's ex-fling and they'd been together in the 1920s).
I really wish they had stuck with Damon. As much as I like the storyline with Katherine, Damon would have also been very interesting and I don't think they would have done the rapid-aging if Damon had gotten it because Julie won't do the show without all three points of the triangle.
I'd imagine Tyler could die, maybe even willingly since he knows he has a passenger in him with no way to get him out again now that the last knife has been destroyed. Though the pics suggest otherwise since it looks like they have to drag him away from MF kicking and screaming... he's got to be heavily vervained and wolf baned otherwise that makes no sense, lol.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh Ty what has happened to you baby? :(
ReplyDeleteOh, come on. Did they traveler-jack Sheriff Forbes again?
ReplyDeleteHome huh?? That's an interesting title.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Stefan?
ReplyDeleteIf none of the main characters bite it I'm going to be very disappointed. We haven't had a main character death since Alaric at the end of Season 3.

1. Where is Stefan?
ReplyDelete2. Damon will be on the Other Side? (With Ric, it would be awesome..)

DIE TYLER DIE!
ReplyDeletelol. I think this show takes the cake when it comes to repetition.
ReplyDeleteMain characters on this show die all the time. It's just rarely ever permanent.
ReplyDeleteWith all the thinly veiled allusions to Caroline making a play for Stefan next season, a semi-permanent demise is probably out of the question.
ReplyDeleteI'd still like to see Damon focus on his little brother for once, rather than worrying how he looks with Elena.
ReplyDeleteFor once? Granted it has been a while but that's a lot of what he was doing throughout the long, long ripper/rehabilitation arc.
ReplyDeleteMore Delena crap *barfs*. And where is Stefan?

I'm for anything that is a potential end to this show's monotonous love triangle.
ReplyDeleteElena doesn't look happy with Caroline. Considering some of the recent spoilers she might have a reason. ;) Not a good one considering who she's been shacking up with, but still a reason.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that.
ReplyDelete"Which he did for Elena more than himself."

I think what you're hinting at isn't going down 'til next season.
ReplyDeleteMaybe so. I'm just going to be really annoyed if the spoiler is about Steroline and Elena gets in the way of it. Whether you ship them or not, Elena has zero ground to stand on. She's already hypocritical to the point of being annoying. This would make me kinda hate her.
ReplyDeleteIt probably wouldn't sit well with Damon either. Elena protests too much, she'll have plenty of detractors both onscreen and off.
ReplyDelete"It seems like you're bagging on Damon for missed opportunities that haven't actually presented themselves anyway"
ReplyDeleteThat's one opinion, sure. Not mine though!
Ha! touché.
ReplyDeleteI kinda hope that does happen. Both of them need to realize just how greedy she can be with the men in her life.
ReplyDeleteI just think a character needs to call her out on it. I have heard her say "I still need you in my life" too many times as it is.
ReplyDeleteI just want the brothers relationship to be given more spotlight. Both boys have different personalities and methods, but in the old seasons they could show they equally cared with a good punch up, now all I see or hear about them is weighted with their ships. ReplyDeleteI see nothing wrong with any of this. I honestly hope you get what you want. It would probably do the show a world of good.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind my asking have you read the books
ReplyDeleteLets hope he continues it for a little while longer.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind at all and no I haven't. I kind of fell into this show and its offspring by accident.
ReplyDeletebye-bye Enzo..
ReplyDeleteI REALLY hope it's Caroline who calls her out on it.
ReplyDeleteThat would work for me.
ReplyDeleteSorry about being Touché, ☺️ I've been a fan of the books since I was 11, in the books the brothers have a dysfunctional but close relationship, with Damon being more a better bigger brother than the show, an it's all I have ever shipped. The show has completely disregarded it along with other characters.
ReplyDeleteI understand the personal investment in the show. I have a few shows I watch like that. Besides, whether someone is a reader of the books or not, I think most people would agree that a stronger focus on the Salvatore relationship would make the show stronger.
ReplyDeleteI wont argue with that.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't count for me if they don't stay dead.
ReplyDeleteI think someone said this episode Damon and Elena might kiss. That's why they are standing close
ReplyDeleteTyler is probably going to die because Plec always listens to the loudest and most annoying fanbase.
ReplyDeleteBonnie is standing between Elena and Damon hmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteI'd imagine Tyler could die, maybe even willingly since he knows he has a passenger in him with no way to get him out again now that the last knife has been destroyed.
