    Liv always has that same smug look on her face. I hope someday soon someone smacks it off of her. If it's Elena that's fine by me.

    So I guess they'll go back to the original plan of killing Elena, but the way Luke and Liv were standing and holding out their hands, it didn't look like they were both trying to do the same thing. Maybe it's my imagination. Luke is supposed to want to protect his sister. I don't see why he would try to stop her from killing Elena if there's the slightest chance that Elena would attack Liv for making another attempt on her. Then again, maybe neither of them is trying to kill Elena. Maybe they're trying to do something else. Liv could be incapacitating Elena while Luke does a different spell entirely. Another possibility is that this scene is just part of Stefan and Elena's journey to another dimension, or wherever it is they're going to end up in this episode. The pictures might be showing yet another scenario that isn't real. Spoilers are tricky.

    Great. Now they're both trying to kill Elena. It's been awhile since we've seen her REALLY fend for herself, let's see how this plays out.

    You know what? I am so tired of people trying to kill Elena, and other people saving her, that I wish Elena would get pissed enough at these two to hand herself over to Markos. Even if he kills her, there's still the chance for a neat plot twist because Nina Dobrev isn't going anywhere. ANY change will do.
