Well there's Caroline. Was that so freaking hard?!?! And seriously guys, to TPTB...this "Scary slasher" music, really doesn't do the episode justice. (rolls eyes).
If the veil to the other side is collapsing, he might be able to push through long enough to terrorize them. Not that drowning her would do anything but cause her discomfort since that can't permanently kill her and of course get fanboys all excited since she's naked in the tub. *rolls eyes* lol
Def. Not. Idt anything has ever been that bad regarding the music in the promos ever. I remember when I would like the music they promoted in the promos. (Most not all) and I would go out of my way to find them and DL them. But last week's, literally made me sick! And this one gives me the... ok whose idea was this- look. = /
Quick Question: The Vampires on the Vampire Diaries dont need to breathe right? So wont the cliche of holding the person underwater not work? Am confused.
Well, Stefn did went for the "lack of air" and kind of traumatic feeling of being drowned over and over. I guess they do need, they do "die" without it, they just can't stay dead.
They need to breathe....I just told this to someone yesterday. And i will say the same thing i told them.....They all need to breathe. This isn't like Angel, where he starts choking Darla and she starts laughing while saying, "They breathe, i don't breathe you idiot, you can't strangle me, hahaha." (aww i miss Angel)...as Damon said in Season 1...."as long as you keep a healthy diet and blood in your system, your body functions quite normally." And also remember Stefan was drowning for 3 months this year, so yes the vamps on this show do need to breathe.
Is it me or did it look like Markos, not Enzo, was drowning Elena? Darn promos. I don't know why Markos would drown Elena, though. Maybe it was Luke, trying to get her out of her body. I know that in the episode after this, Stefan and Elena are supposed to be free of the Travelers' control and sort of in another dimension somewhere. The Delena drama is back on again in this episode, I see.
You have a point. The problem is, there isn't enough manpower around to kill every one of the Travelers this time for some reason. I hope someone mentions where the rest of Luke and Liv's coven is. Maybe they're all afraid, or maybe Enzo killed them all and that's how Liv knows him. Witches are obviously weaker than Travelers, who don't answer to spirits and suddenly have the power to reverse immortality. The Travelers will probably lose control of Mystic Falls in the season finale, but the town and its most important inhabitants will somehow get moved to a parallel reality. At least that's what I heard rumors about. The fight with the Travelers will be over at the end of this season, but the cliffhanger and Season 6 will be about what happens in the aftermath.
It looks like Luke and Liv outlasted the other witches in their coven for a reason. It could be that they're more powerful because they practice a different kind of magic, but maybe just being guardians of the doppelgangers is cosmically keeping them safe at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if, even as the creator of the doppelganger species, Markos is just as unable to kill them as anyone else. I can't believe I'm the only one who's noticed the possible truth to the destiny element of their power. Elena in particular has a way of inadvertently shaping a situation to suit herself. The problem is that sometimes people end up dead when that happens.
Liv might have shown up alone at first because the rest of her coven was busy casting spells to track the Travelers and asking the spirits to figure out the Travelers' next move. I think Liv's job, initially, was to watch Bonnie, but then things got complicated because of Katherine and the virus, so Luke came to help his sister. Twins shouldn't be separated, anyway. At least that's my point of view. Liv might have met Enzo for the first time when he had Luke taken hostage, or she might have already known who he was because he was the muscle that the Travelers sent to systematically kill off Luke and Liv's coven so the Travelers wouldn't have to worry about them. I don't think the Travelers would have tried to face the coven themselves because of the curse. Enzo probably played a larger role in the Travelers coming into power than is being mentioned. I do hope someone makes it canon, though, what happened to the rest of the coven. It's just not hard to guess after seeing Enzo kill one of those witches just by throwing a rock at her from a doorway. I suspect that either Enzo wasn't completely honest about how old he was when he was in Augustine, or maybe he spent so much time there that he lost track. He could be several centuries old, probably older than Katherine, and consequently a very powerful vampire. He was with Augustine from it's beginnings, and I don't think it was established when exactly the secret society got started. It might not be based on a saint from the 1700s. It could have been started to continue the work of a near-ancient vampire hunter no one's ever heard of, or the name might have changed over time to reflect the mission of some evangelist family. Travelers could have started it under assumed names. Of course this is only speculation. My theory is that basically, Luke and Liv are fine while they're guarding Stefan and especially Elena, who they apparently didn't really plan to kill. I don't know what they were going to do with her, but I'm guessing we'll find out in Ep 21. Maybe they figured that Elena could be staked and then moved to another body because Katherine made her a traveler. Stefan doesn't have that ability, at least not yet. If he dies in his present state, he'll stay dead. There's another possibility: Luke and Liv aren't affiliated with any ancient coven, or they're only loosely affiliated with it and they have another reason for protecting Elena.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt isn't as bad as the rom-com soundtrack used in the promo for last week's episode.
ReplyDeleteMarkos and his over-pronunciation of the word 'doppelgangers' needs to shut the hell up. Damon could have snapped his neck last week and ended this.
ReplyDeletedidn't the daylight ring look like enzo's
ReplyDeleteYay, extended promo has Caroline! I missed her last ep.

ReplyDeleteLol I would love that. I'm rooting for Damon to kill him. I really don't want to see Markos live to season 6 at all!
ReplyDeleteTerribly so.
ReplyDeleteit is enzo. That mention of the ghost in the synopis is now clear as daylight!!

ReplyDeleteI second that. I do not want the Travelers storyline stretching into season six.
