    Nope. Not an Enzo fan. I don't think he has any real purpose for being there either. All he's done so far is make trouble for Damon and flirt with Caroline.

    Same here. Enzo is a horrible character. It's like the writers have this check list (amoral, sort of evil, witty one-liners, handsome, sexy accent, hints of a tragic backstory, chemistry with Caroline) and wrote him solely based on that to fill the hole Klaus left.

    Mind you, I'm not saying this because I want Klaus back on TVD or (God forbid) back in Caroline's radar. But since the Originals skipped town, TVD has been sort of aimless and the antagonists this season are kind of random, so I figure the reasoning TPTB employed when they created Enzo was, "Well, if we can't have Klaus back, let's just write someone who's almost exactly like Klaus, except less powerful. And let's throw in a friendship with Damon because we also need someone to replace Alaric." It's sloppy, unimaginative writing.

    I'm not really worried about Enzo/Caroline (especially after reading the TV Line finale column) but just the idea of it makes me recoil.

    I liked Enzo till he ran of with the travelers he seems pretty annoying now. Meanwhile Liv will survive this cause she is in the synopsis for 5x21.

    The scary part is that she's probably right. Enzo is either a replacement for Klaus or a way to wean TVD fans off of Klaus. The younger ones might not watch The Originals.

    As much as I appreciate Enzo's whimsy and dislike Liv, I really hate the idea of any man rendering a woman that helpless. It just seems wrong somehow.

    I love him. I think if they would give it some time he would be a good addition to the group. He really has potential! I know it's pretty unrealistic to believe that he is going to survive this season but I won't give up hope until i see him die
