To be fair, while they didn't stand a chance before, they made the mistake of putting him in a corridor, meaning when he wolfed/vamped out he had them in a bottleneck. Maybe if they get enough vamps they can subdue them for a time (I hope not, I want to see Klaus finally wolf out fully)
I know right? And besides, Klaus chooses to remain emotionally stunted and a jerk whereas while Marcel has plenty of issues I feel he learns slightly more from his mistakes and the situations he's in, plus he went from being a slave to growing up with a psycho for a father figure so I don't get why people are being harsh on him, I'd love to see him be able to kick Klaus down and keep him down for a long long time. Klaus has got to be the most childish and frustrating character on TV, and Julie Plec's obsession with trying to make him seem lovable and sexy is this show's biggest flaw by far. But, at least he's somehow more watchable than on TVD. But back to Marcel, I'm hoping this season ends with him somehow back on top. :D
OMG. Why isn't Marcel dead already? Why does Marcel think that even stands a chance? The dude is an IDIOT and he obvisously wants to die. Why would anyone help him? Weren't most of them there when Klaus completely wiped with floor with them and that was JUST KLAUS, imagine how tough it would be with Elijah right there with him. UGH. IDIOT. I want to like Marcel, I really do, but the guy is just too stupid for words.
Julie Pec-who is storytelling the story, is awesome. Love watching her storytelling come to life on the screen. Her idea of Klaus and to make the show about him is awesome. It obviously attracted you. And you watched the show. The show will never be about Marcel. It seems you realize that in your comment. SO Klaus has drove enough passion into to go off on his character. LOL
I want to like Marcel but it's stupid decisions like this that make me not able to. Like all of the other commenters pointed out, the last time they took on Klaus he massacred them, ALONE. now that Elijah is in the mix there is no way they can defeat them. I get that he feels like Klaus "took" something from him but in reality? HE STOLE IT. the reason they ran was because HE called Mikel, it's not like they collectively were like "New Orleans is played out, let's move to somewhere else" Klaus saved him, first by taking him away from the plantation, then again when he turned him (i'm sure there will be more instances in between) if anything you'd think he would show a little more respect to the man that raised him.
If this is an excuse for Klaus to go all all out (even transforming (doubt it) if necesary) I would love the show for it. If Marcel wins it will be because of TPTB and I will not like that one bit.
have to agree with you here ... I love Klaus and all the originals but I also get every single point of view too so it's hard to judge one character for what they have done or going. I get why Klaus does his thing, also get why Marcel does what he does and so on. Sometimes I hate that ;) my world is all grey not black and white.
Based on his past actions against Klaus (ie, bringing in Mikael; another more recent failed attempt to take out Klaus; the witch-blessing-massacre-Thierry-ends-up-dead-mess-up),it seems that Marcel doesn't have the insight/strategic planning needed to be a real threat to the Originals. Anyone that follows Marcel is on a suicide mission, and I'd hate to think that the entire New Orleans vampire community is onboard with that. So, let's stop toying with Marcel and put him out of his misery already. The show needs someone (a la Mikael; even the witches) who presents a real threat to the Originals. In other words: I'm so over Marcel.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Marcel: We got our asses kicked by Klaus last time. This time let's take on both Klaus and Elijah. Genius!
ReplyDeleteI am so done with Marcel's grandiose posturing and his hollow speeches.
ReplyDeleteUgh. God, i'm actually rooting for Klaus here. Let's get this show on the road.
