typo alert ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat typo ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was saying eoisode rather than episode. You can still see it in the tweet that went out
ReplyDeleteI hope this doesn't mean Leonard and Penny break up...been there done that
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the "I don't actually love Leonard" storyline from last year? Where she was going to break up with him then he made puppy dog eyes and she felt bad and couldn't break up with him? Where he pretty much guilted her into staying with him? Are we supposed to have forgotten that episode happened?
ReplyDeleteShe never said anything like that. The relationship freaked her out and she was going to back off again, but she didn't. Six episodes later she told him how she feels. There's no reason to get back to that episode.
ReplyDeleteI was at the taping of that episode. Before each scene we were read the episode summary, which included the phrase "Penny *is not sure* if she wants to break up with Leonard." The point of that story was not "I don't love him." To the contrary, its showed her conflict, and clearly, since six episodes later, she said she loved him, she wasn't saying she was not in love with him. When Sheldon asked "don't hurt my friend," she responded "that is the last thing I want to do." If she didn't care about him, hurting him wouldn't be a concern. Because at the end of the previous season he'd proposed and taken it too fast, it was making her doubt, like it did in season three when they broke up. But this time, she stayed with him, and it's because she loves him. He didn't guilt her into staying with him because he didn't know she was thinking of breaking things off.
ReplyDeleteI guess you didn't read the taping report for this episode.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone gets great pleasure from reading a written summary of a filming.
