Sweet :D
ReplyDeleteHope no one we care about is dying :(
I've always been very fond of her character. This is great news.
ReplyDeleteGreat news
ReplyDeleteyay Tessa!
ReplyDeleteWhy couldn't the spinoff been about her? The show could have been her travelling around helping people come to terms with their deaths or something. Although now that I think about it that sounds like a warped version of the ghost whisperer...
ReplyDeleteI hope she won't end up like Sarah did... And that we won't get another 'creative' approach towards canon.
ReplyDeletebecause that would be an actual Supernatural spin-off. Not something completely new only with the brand tacked onto it
ReplyDeleteI hope this means we get to see Death again.
ReplyDeleteI like you
ReplyDeleteOh cool, I always liked Tessa
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVED Tessa. She always had such amazing chemistry with Dean. Then again, who doesn't? Very excited to see she'll be back.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! I love Tessa!
ReplyDeleteSomeone please tell me this is NOT the case... I'm so worried about this season finale.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they don't bring her back to have her be martyred like the rest of the recurring characters, this could be great :D
ReplyDeleteI really liked her, so looking forward to this.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they have secrets ways in and out of Heaven, Hell and the Veil. But, Heaven is on lock down, so may mean all entrances, even backdoors are locked up too.
ReplyDeleteI don't care about the canon stuff but I agree about Sarah. Sarah died in episode 22 of last season. If they think they need to kill off another female character to try to show us the serious stakes, then that is just garbage and it will really tick me off.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's more about Heaven being closed and the natural order being slowly destroyed as a result.
ReplyDeleteI, too, wonder if Sam isn't going to be the one to summon her for help? Although I'm not sure what help she could be.
ReplyDeleteSolid theory. Tessa might be willing to smuggle them into Heaven to fix it from the inside - maybe find the vial containing Cas's grace so they may be able to reverse Metatron's spell.
ReplyDeleteI hope she has better luck than the last reaper who helped Sam and Dean get around :(
ReplyDeleteI agree. The Reapers must be going bonkers not be able to part of their jobs (ferrying souls to Heaven).
ReplyDeleteAgree. I liked Ajay but as long as the Nep duo (Singer's wife and her writing partner) don't turn Tessa into an 'angel' who likes skanky sex and can be killed with an angel blade I'm fairly cool that these writers won't dare ruin Tessa.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Glad they trying to reintroduce some "still out there, still not dead" characters from early seasons. Lindsey had a great chemistry with Jensen, looking forward for more scenes of them together. I just hope its not a season 2-1 repeat, no more Dean's death - reincarnations, please.
ReplyDeleteThese writers have messed up every character past and present on the show.
ReplyDeletex
Tessa is a sweet, lovable character, but I'm sure she'll get twisted around to fit Carver's rubbishy disregard for canon.
I still dont't understand what this season is all about.
All I get is that the brothers relationship is ruined, Heaven is closed and the souls are wandering around in the veil. All the rest is nebulous at best.
I didn't even remember who Sarah was, I had to google the name.
ReplyDeleteIt may mean all entrances, it may not. I hope there is still a backdoor so my theory is right, lol.
ReplyDeleteI think Tessa has always had an edge. I remember some fans describing her as angry in her last appearance (I didn't entirely get that vibe). So if she's not sweet here then I can see why. I don't think it's against canon.
ReplyDeleteIf she's there to be raped or killed, that's another story, and I will be outraged.
Definitely. MAYBE a reaper can still pass through Heaven without a soul, and perhaps can find a way to get Sam and/or Dean into Heaven as well.
ReplyDeleteShe was more annoyed having to babysit Dean.
ReplyDeleteSeriously you need to get the stick out of your ass. If you don't like how the show is going stop watching, plenty of people still do, and don't see every little thing as a canon violation. Hell Kripke violated his own canon way worse with the angels than anything in the Carver years.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you so interested in my opinions? No -one is forcing you or anyone else to read them.
ReplyDeleteYou and others enjoy the show as it is. Great!
I think its a pale shadow of itself with atrocious dull writing and uncaring show-running,
It's my right to criticise it as much as I care to, and I will keep taking an interest in SPN as long as Sam and Dean continue to be the stars of the show.
My guess is one or both Winchesters will summon her in an effort to 'fix' Heaven and restore the 'Natural Order'; (maybe friends die in 9.19 and 9.21 and this increases the urgency of freeing trapped souls) and if souls are trapped in the Veil the Reapers can't do their job. Maybe Reapers can also smuggle flesh-and-blood humans into Heaven much like Ajay smuggled Sam into Purgatory to free Bobby's soul from Hell. The reason that Ajay gave Sam as to why he wouldn't go into Hell with Sam is that he didn't want to piss Crowley off. Returning the angels to Heaven as well as freeing trapped souls might only be accomplished by reversing Metatron's spell.
ReplyDeleteYes. At 'worse case' maybe Tessa would be willing to locate Cas's grace vial and bring it to Sam/Dean/Cas so they can try to reverse Metatron's spell (assuming she can't smuggle them into Heaven).
ReplyDeleteWell on second thought it could closely resemble to what Cyana T said. My third was that Death in is trouble or Tessa, but that seems impossible to me (it would be great having him back). Anyways, it is great having a recurring character back :)
ReplyDeleteAgree. Compare to the other reapers that we have seen she is nice :)
ReplyDeleteYes, she surely had a soft spot for him. :)
ReplyDeleteShe has been sweet to Dean, she was only annoyed when he tried to subvert the natural order by not respecting the list of the dying, otherwise she has been very understanding in her own reaper way.
ReplyDeleteRemember, though, reapers go through a backdoor into Hell, so even if they can't bring a soul, the reapers themselves could probably go into Heaven through a backdoor as well. And I believe all of the storylines will clash in the last three episodes, starting with "King of the Damned"(episode 21).
ReplyDeletewell no one is going into heaven because its closed down thanks to metatron so reapers must be having hard time taking souls where they need to go. but oh stairway to heaven forgot title nice catch is this where all the stories run together abaddon, Crowley, moc and metatron ????
ReplyDeleteWith the 22nd episode being titled "Stairway to Heaven", I have a hunch that Sam and Dean could get to Heaven through Purgatory as they did with Hell in "Taxi Driver", but this time, they get the reaper they know the most, which is Tessa.
ReplyDeleteShe's great!. I just hope it won't have anything to do with the boys dying. I wonder if this is for Dean, maybe the mark of cain takes its toll, this time round Sam may be summoning. I would love to see Death as well. This sounds very intruging!.
ReplyDeleteTessa is coming back ....OMG Dean will die ???????????????????????????? x_X
ReplyDeleteOoh, I wonder why Tessa's coming back! Cannot wait to find out.
