Universal City, CA – April 4, 2014 – DB Woodside (“Parenthood”) and Brendan Hines (“Betrayal”) will join USA’s top rated and critically-acclaimed original drama SUITS in a major multi-episode arc when the series returns this summer for its fourth season. The series stars Gabriel Macht ("Love and Other Drugs"), SAG® Award nominee Patrick J. Adams ("Luck"), Gina Torres ("Firefly”), Rick Hoffman ("Samantha Who"), Meghan Markle ("CSI: Miami") and Sarah Rafferty (“Brothers & Sisters”). Woodside and Hines will join as recurring guest stars.

Woodside will play Jeff Malone, a former SEC prosecutor who is a financial expert with a personal stake in Pearson Specter. His expertise is needed when the firm is faced with its toughest challenge yet. Hines will play Logan Sanders – the son of a millionaire entrepreneur who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and isn’t used to hearing the word “no.” His desire to prove himself by making a splashy acquisition will put him squarely in the middle of a conflict between Harvey (Macht) and Mike (Adams).

A graduate of The Yale School of Drama, Woodside is perhaps best known as President Wayne Palmer on the series, “24.” He currently stars as a series regular on “Single Ladies,” produced by Queen Latifah. Additional television credits include “Viva Laughlin,” “Parenthood,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Hellcats” “Hawthorne,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “CSI,” “Private Practice,” “Castle” and the NBC miniseries “The Temptations.” Movie credits include “Romeo Must Die” and “Mississippi Damned.” Woodside is represented by Don Buchwald and Associates, MJ Management and Barry Littman.

Hines is an actor and singer-songwriter with theater and numerous television credits to his name. Television credits include “Betrayal,” “Lie to Me,” “Scandal,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and “The Middleman.” On stage, he played the roles of Pip and Theo in South Coast Repertory's production of Richard Greenberg's “Three Days of Rain.” Additionally, Hines wrote, recorded and released two folk albums; 2007's "Good For You Know Who" and 2012's "Small Mistakes." Hines is represented by Talent Works and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management.

SUITS was one of 2013’s top ten scripted shows in basic cable prime among P18-49 (2.38MM), P25-54 (2.39MM), and P18-34 (1.28MM). The season 3 finale of SUITS airs on Thursday, April 10 at 9/8c on USA.

Season 4 of SUITS begins production in Toronto, ON next week and will return to USA this summer.

From Universal Cable Productions, SUITS was created and is executive produced by Aaron Korsh ("The Deep End"). Doug Liman (COVERT AFFAIRS, ”The Bourne Trilogy,” "Mr. & Mrs. Smith") and David Bartis (COVERT AFFAIRS, "The O.C.") of Hypnotic, as well as Daniel Arkin (“90210”) and Chris Downey (“King & Maxwell,” “Leverage”) serve as executive producers. Gene Klein of Hypnotic (COVERT AFFAIRS), Rick Muirragui (“Men of a Certain Age,” “The Good Guys”) and Anton Cropper (“Fairly Legal”) serve as co-executive producers.

  2. I hope "multi-episode arc" doesn't mean that they are going to drag this one as much as they did with the Hessington-Oil-whatever-storyline.At the end I didn't remember what it was all about!
I generally prefer it when they deal with COTW so that they can focus more on our characters.
I guess,we'll have to wait and see then...
