Following the decision to push limited drama series Astronaut Wives Club to midseason, ABC is reshuffling its summer schedule, which was to feature AWC in the Thursday 9 PM slot starting July 24. Rookie Blue, originally slated to premiere on July 17 and air in the Thursday 10 PM slot, paired with AWC, will now slide to 9 PM and start its season a month earlier, on June 19. (It is unclear if the move would expand the cop drama’s fifth season, originally set to air 11 of the 22 episodes produced.) New alternative series The Quest will keep its Thursday 8 PM slot but its premiere is being pushed back by two weeks, from July 19 to July 31.

I much rather have Rookie Blue start in June so yay,i'm happy! If i'm not mistaken when it was announced how many episodes they were being upped to they also said they had a June start date.
ReplyDeleteYeah baby, June here we come!
ReplyDeletethis is better. It usually starts in June anyway so July was too late..
ReplyDeleteYes! So happy it's starting earlier.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness!!
ReplyDeletethis change of date things are getting out whack . but I am so glad Rookie blue is coming sooner rather in July. I am glad its back to its usual premiere dateline . Was Rookie blue on at 9pm last summer? or was it 10pm last summer. i swear it was 10pm last time. but w.e I feel like i am getting old . but i'm only 22 . I miss my RookieFamily .. you guys are my favorite tv family
ReplyDeleteYour right, last season it started at 10 pm.I think it was always on at 10. Your not getting old, with all the shows we watch it hard to keep track after awhile. With what gets cancelled, what starts mid-season,the networks change days and time its a wonder we remember at all! :)
ReplyDeletei think the first season it aired at 9 then for the rest it was at 10 but don't quote me on that because i didn't watch the first season i caught the pilot episode a few weeks before the second season was set to start fell in love and ordered first season on dvd
ReplyDeleteI am totally OK with Rookie Blue starting a week earlier!
ReplyDeleteGreat News, I hate waiting for shows to start.
