ABC: +74, Fox: +22, NBC: no change, CBS: – 4

-Winners:
“60 Minutes” (CBS), “The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” (CBS)
-Fading:

-Ratings Breakdown:
It was an easy overnight Sunday victory for CBS, with “The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” at an 8.2 rating/13 share in households from 8-11 p.m., peaking in the 9 p.m. half-hour with an 8.5/13. Comparably, this was just six percent below the 8.7/14 for the annual awards show on the year-ago evening (which translated into 15.50 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/11 share among adults 18-49, according to the live plus same day data). Lead-in granddaddy “60 Minutes” opened the night with a dominant 7.5/13 in the 7 p.m. hour.
In week five news, ABC drama “Resurrection” is still bleeding with a second-place 5.0/ 7 in the household overnights from 9-10 p.m. While this was 79 percent ahead of competing “Believe” on NBC (2.8/ 4) and 22 percent above lead-in “Once Upon a Time” (4.1/ 6 at 8 p.m.), “Resurrection” was down by another nine percent from one week earlier and it needs to settle in now. Five-week overnight track for “Resurrection”: 8.5/13 – 7.0/10 – 6.2/10 – 5.5/ 8 – 5.0/ 7.
“Revenge” on ABC also finished second behind the “49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards,” but it dipped to a 3.5/ 6 at 10 p.m. And its advantage over week four of competing “Crisis” on NBC (3.1/ 5) was only 13 percent. Worth positively noting for “Crisis” was overnight growth out of “Believe” of 11 percent.
Earlier in the evening on ABC was veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at a second-place 3.3/ 6 at 7 p.m. NBC, meanwhile, opened the night with news special, “Ann Curry Reports: Our Year of Extremes – Did Climate Change Just Hit Home?” at a third-place 2.9/ 5 at 7 p.m. And Ann Curry led into a series-low 2.0/ 3 for “American Dream Builders” (#4) from 8-9 p.m., which is also airing in the 10 p.m. hour tonight (out of “The Voice”).
Last in the overnights was Fox with its line-up of animated “Bob’s Burgers” (#4: 1.5/ 3), “American Dad” (#4: 1.5/ 3), “The Simpsons” (#3: 2.4/ 4) and “Family Guy” (#3: 2.8/ 4) from 7-9 p.m., and recent entry “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey” at a series-low (and last-place) 2.5/ 4 from 9-10 p.m.

Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
Resurrection! Please stop dropping. I want a 2nd Season
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to HBO releasing the GOT figures..
ReplyDeleteOUAT stays solid.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Do you reckon they will taken into account HBO Go and International numbers? Or will that be separate?
ReplyDeleteNo, those won't be in the ratings numbers, but I'm sure if they have the numbers ready that they will mention them separately in a press release.
ReplyDeleteThey usually do TV numbers then later on mention how many people watched it via catch-up services. Think it was averaging 13mil viewers that way last season.
ReplyDeleteI guess:
ReplyDeleteOUAT 2.0-2.1
RESURRECTION 2.2-2.3
BELIEVE 1.0-1.1
CRISIS 1.1-1.2
Please Revenge! Stop falling :(
ReplyDeleteResurrection, you too!
I can't help but feel that the reason some people stop watching it is because it focuses so much on Caleb. Honestly, I couldn't care less about Caleb. I watch for the mythology, trying to figure out how these people are being resurrected and why, and it's been, what, 2 episodes now where the mythology has taken a back-seat. I'm not particularly happy about the creative direction to focus so much on Caleb. Why not the little boy? Jacob is so cute! :P
ReplyDeleteResurrection is too slow, people get bored and Revenge Keeps falling why?
ReplyDeleteAnd if it's Thursday - or in this case, Monday - Berman is trashing Revenge based on thoroughly irrelevant data.
ReplyDeleteWell I can't help but feel people are not watching because its so boring. That to me makes more sense.
ReplyDeleteAnd I was really looking forward to this show, but i'm struggling to hold any interest
I, for one, love a mystery that takes some time to unravel. Each to their own, I guess :) It should be noted, I'm losing interest if the next episodes are going to be Caleb-centric also.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to get torn..
ReplyDeleteI've been rooting for Believe and Crisis to keep falling every week, so Revolution has a better chance... but Crisis, is actually, very, very, good.
Resurrection down to a 2.1. Once Upon a Time beat it.
ReplyDeleteRevenge down to a 1.3 or a 1.2.
Next week, OUAT will beat Resurrection.......
ReplyDeleteouch at Resurrection
ReplyDeletePoor Revenge!!! its done.
ReplyDeletestill gets a 4rth season!!
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about Crisis until this week i read an interwiew of James Lafferty, I just watched the first episode and I like it more than i thought i would.
ReplyDeleteI am sure it will but quite embarrassing none the less, no one is watching anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnother huge drop for Resurrection :-/

Good for OUAT ...
ReplyDeleteit did that this week!
ReplyDeleteGood for OUAT will prob adjust up to a 2.3
ReplyDeleteResurrection has been very slow and Revenge has been off track lately. Plus the award show had some impact
ReplyDeleteyay good for ouat
ReplyDeletethe last couple of revenge eps have not been good plus it has competition last night
ReplyDeleteHappy Once is above 2.0 and that it beat Reserrection. .Hope Reserrections decline is good news for Nashville.
ReplyDeleteI think Nashville will be renewed for mid-season.
ReplyDeleteWow Once beat Resurrection. I mean we're still pending adjustments but it certainly looks great.
ReplyDeleteIf its renewed,it'll be be for two more full seasons.
ReplyDeleteI know,that's unforfunate.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's possible because the cast will be on a tour this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard right now.......... :D
ReplyDeleteIt's a two city ,brief tour not a full fledged one.
ReplyDeleteRevenge under 5 million :-(
ReplyDeletePeople just give up fast on shows these days
ReplyDeleteResurrection deserves these drops, it's too slow and focused in superficial aspects, like why Caleb killed that man and whatever.
ReplyDeleteI was looking forward to seeing yesterday's episode of Resurrection but I'm not anymore lol.
ReplyDeletedon´t think so, it´s half hours are 2.3/2.1. It sucks it fall that bit, the ep. was AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteCrisis! I want another season, more Gillian Anderson!
