Anything Skye/Coulson. The proud papa bear feels were strong in this episode. Skye becoming an agent, the both of them deducing that the Clairvoyant was a SHIELD agent and the standoff with May, if only because May's genuine confusion cleared her of any mole guilt in my eyes :D Also the FitzSimmons scenes were adorable, and it was great to see agent Triplett again!
I enjoyed the Ward and Skye scene where they talked about what he did to protect her. He said that he wanted to keep her safe. That was my favorite moment.
I loved the part where Skye was welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D. and also when Ward shot Nash because he was talking about coming after Skye. And when Ward and Skye talk in the interrogation room.
I love the show, except one thing! The whole Skye/Ward thing they are pushing... So overdone, so predictable! There's a whole bunch of pairings that would work and be least predictable! There was Ward/May and, althought them failing was the only logical course of action, it happening in the first hand was a nice surprise! There'd be Skye/Fitz or Ward/Simmons, those are two exemples of least predictable yet still interesting ships. Heck, anything would be more interesting and least predictable than the broody guy hooking up with the upbeat girl, AGAIN!
Sorry, I had to rant! I swear I'm not a hater, I love everything else about this show, but this ship makes me cringe! ^_^ lol
Back to the poll's question, for the first time I had to answer ''others''! Short version, both scenes with Fitz and May (Heck, another unpredictable ship! Fitzinda, let's make it happen! LOL). The one where he explains to her his new tracking gun (in case you have to chase a monkey! :p ), and the scene where he discovers May's hardline and she catches him up snooping around, and he runs off and cross path with Skye ''- I didn't do anything. - I never said you did. What did you do?'', that was the best line! :)
So there you go! Glad that May isn't really a bad guy, at least not knowingly one; she seems geniunly as surprised as everyone that the bus got turned around. I don't believe her to be a bad guy any more than the rest of the gang now. Looking forward to next week, and I'll have to find a way to watch the Captain America movie before, too (I work late, and I don't have a day off between the movie and the next episode! lol).
Okay, so I don't watch Marvel films, and don't really have any intention of watching Captain America 2. Does that mean I'll miss out on what's happening in the show?
This episode was pretty much awesome from start to finish. This show has come a long way since it premiered.
Loved Skye becoming an agent, the creepy scene with the Clairvoyant telling Coulson about his plan, and Coulson/May/Skye facing off especially. But there were SO MANY good moments. AoS has definitely hit its stride - I'm just glad the ratings didn't sink to cancellation-worthy levels before that happened, as is often the case with shows that take time to find their feet.
Great ep I liked the various twists and turns. I still have my idea of who is the baddie. But I am beginning to think he isn't working alone…..um how long until the next ep….
On the down side and its a big down side for me.
Why does every show assume that everyone wants to watch two characters make cow eyes at each other every two minutes. Please its boring, predictable and so soap opera its insulting. I watch this show for the plots, the action and the NON ROMANTIC character interaction. If they are heading into soap opera territory then I will not be watching. If they keep it as a background thing and don't develop it then fine but the minute they bring it into the show it just a big turn off and to be honest it's just lazy writing to fill out the scripts with nauseating romantic posturing..
If I wanted romantic drama I would watch a soap. (And thats never going to happen)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
There were soooooooo many SkyeWard feels! :D
ReplyDeleteThere was just too much to like in this one. I couldn't choose!

ReplyDeleteSo, Agent hand is a part of HYDRA?
ReplyDeleteWard saying that he doesn't regret what he did as long as it means Skye is safe ! And the rest of the team too of course... ;)
ReplyDeleteThis episode was just awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe face off at the end!!!! But I also really liked the team being paired off and seeing them track down the Clairvoyant.
ReplyDeleteI think the Hand at the end was interesting......she definitely bad

ReplyDeleteThis episode was full of so much win, it was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAll of the Skye/Grant moments! ^_^
ReplyDeletePossibly. In the comics, Victoria Hand is a double agent. Maybe she's one in AoS as well.
ReplyDeleteyep I think she work for HYDRA or another organization and trying to destroy SHIELD from within
ReplyDeleteshe has to be.....why would she order her agents to kill everyone on board.....it seem all this is happening with Fury missing

Or inadvertently working for the wrong side.
ReplyDeleteLoved just about every moment of this episode, but enjoyed that Fitz is still hoping for a monkey.
