All the Regina moments for me especially her breaking the curse that just made my heart soar. Loved that Henry was awestruck by Robin Hood. Such a good episode!
Regina/Henry TLK and Regina/Henry/Robin bonding:) Perfect:) I loved all of Regina's scenes, but these two were just what I could only hope it would be:)
I really disliked Regina in the first season. Slowly she grew on me. When they went to Neverland; well that was when I began to root for Regina. Today, I am a fan of that character. She has true love; her son. Regina despite not having her heart was able to still have the true love for Henry. That is special magic. Loved it.
1) Regina breaking the curse. This is so unexpected.
2) Snow and Charming saying goodbye to each other. We all know that Charming WILL live but still, the goodbye is like one of the saddest I have ever seen on TV. I was bawling my eyes out.
3) Emma using her magic. I just love this character development when she's finally ready to use magic whenever something bad happens rather than using a gun.
Yes! Thank goodness Emma didn't try to shoot Zelena. This was definitely about her accepting this life where magic is part of it. I think this was my favorite episode this year so far. Maybe because Regina got to be the hero twice - splitting Snow's heart and breaking the curse. And perhaps because we saw her being accepted as part of the 'team' with the Charmings to defeat Zelena in the flashback and in the present.
Have to say I was surprised to see Dorothy Gale in the preview for the next episode...I guess none of our regular characters is Dorothy. lol
I was surprised too! Given that the writers have a habit of combining many traditional characters into one certainly made me not expect that Dorothy was a wholly another person. But maybe she's Snow and Charming's daughter?
Actually, they did this only with Cora (The Miller's daugher and Queen of Hearts), Red Riding Hood (Red and Wolf) and also wth Rumplestiltskin (Dark One, Crocodile and Beast) so there is no such thing like "writers have a habit of combining many traditional characters into one".
Peter Pan as Pied Piper? Also countless other minor ones like Charming as the character who's supposed to pull out the sword? Charming as the prince who should have saved Rapunzel?
Eh, when it happens more than thrice, it's a habit for me. And this happens more than 5 times. Let's agree to disagree.
The scene where Hook catches Henry trying to leave, did anyone notice the flower truck in background? It had Game of Thorns written on the side. Thought it might mean something. Idk
I like all the Regina scenes. She had the best lines, and her facial expressions were great. I loved the humor and newfound closeness of her scenes with Snow and Charming. I also loved those Regina and Henry scenes. I'm so happy with how they are writing Regina now, and that they've changed Henry's relationship and interactions with her to be finally more natural mother-son bonding moments.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Okay. I surrender.
ReplyDeleteOperation Annoying is back on... I was enjoying small Henry appearances..
ReplyDeleteOperation Annoying is back on... I was enjoying Henry as a very secondary character

ReplyDeleteThat's Belle's dad's flower shop - if I'm not mistaken...
ReplyDeleteYou didn't even include Regina as the Tin Man, Rumple as the Scarecrow, and Charming as the Lion in our current storyline...
ReplyDeleteExactly.
