Another wonderful episode! I can't believe there's only one more episode left of the season. It's gonna be a long wait till season 3. As for the episode I am glad Rollo survived. I'm more than happy Athelstan came back with Ragnar and that he considers them his family. Also, a big plus to princess Aslaug for making Porrunn (sp.?) a free woman, when I saw the promo I thought she might resent Porrunn for saying she wants to be like Lagertha. It was a nice surprise what she did.
The only problem I have is Floki. I don't get him. I honestly don't. I know he doesn't like Athelstan, he's angry at Rollo for what he did. But I'd say Rollo regained his respect fighting against Jarl Borg. I don't get his sudden betrayal. I still hope those who say it might be something planned between him and Ragnar against Horik are right. Otherwise it makes no sense. Besides...is it just me or are we getting a bit too similar with the Rollo betraying Ragnar at the end of season 1/beginning of season 2?
Yes, I don't understand Floki right now. He was so tight with Ragnar, and protected him when he was being hunted and nursed him through his wounds, and to suddenly betray him just doesn't make sense. I do hope that it's a secret plot with Ragnar to fake out Horik.
Horik is such a fool--can't think on the spot or make good battle decisions. Ragnar is the far better war leader and able to think outside the box. And it looks like Bjorn is cut from the same cloth as his father--hope he becomes a wise leader as well as a valiant warrior.
It is going to seem like forever before this next season, since the seasons are so short to begin with!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That was great! LOL at that one lady wanting a Northmen to get knocked up. It was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteLove it
ReplyDeleteFirst half was outstanding, after tat it frizzled out a little bit...but I loved it.
