pretty good ep but a bit predictable in some ways with some frustrating writing bits: Russell was way too trusting for someone who has been hiding out for so long - if the Founder didn't have a tracker in the wine, I'm prety sre that it's in the watch that he gave him, and bringing Hillary and other Ultra gal into the lair? I know that he just wants things to be over, but that didn't seem too smart. even though I was hoping that she was on the level, it felt too obvious that Hilary was a mole, especially when Russell foolishly brought her into the lair, she didn't say a word when Jed showed up as her last standing order from the founder was to bring him in....I do wonder by the look she had on her face when Hilary reported to the Founder if she had accepted the mission to play Stephen but has actually developed feelings for him. of course I'm hoping that Cara and Astrid are a bit more cautious and aren't drinking the kool aid that all's well with Ultra...and have made some contingency plans. enough with the Stephen and every girl on the show romantic geometry already... I am glad that they finally had Marla in the show as it felt ridiculous that she hasn't been around with all that has gone on in the past few eps. Looking forward to seeing how all this wil come to a head
It's not like they don't know where the Lair is Ultra knew the location prior to this episode so letting Hillary in there wasn't anything special and even if they didn't I'm sure they can track Russell I'm sure they could trace him now.
Great episode really. So much happened. The only thing I hated is not enough Astrid as usual. And Hillary. I have never liked her, never ever. I have been so pissed with Stephen even going there with her after she was the reason Astrid, her dad, as well as him mom almost died. I was glad they let Astrid be mad about it because I was pissed about it. I knew she was up to no good and Stephen dumb ass feel for the okie doke. John was amazing. Cara was really great actually and I never cared much for her character but I liked her tonight and I really love when she has scenes with Astrid. Russell was hilarious. And I've said all along that the Founder could not be trusted, not sure why anyone thought he could lol. Really excited for the last episodes, and it makes me sad to think this could be the end of the show.
i didn't think they would actually bring roger back, that scene in limbo i thought he wouldn't be able to return, and wow Cara was jealous, even russel could tell, it was nice to see the old Cara for a minute laughing and dancing with Stephen, TIM rocks i did not expect him to say "suck it" to the founder and jedikiah
Not sure why Hilary gets so much hate to be honest, she's probably one of the more interesting characters right now. The end scene made it quite clear that although she is working for the Founder she does have feelings for Stephen so she will inevitably play a pretty big role in the season/series finale.
I really like her, I think she has brought a lot of tension to TTP and her dynamic with Stephen, I do think she was following the founder orders but she actually fell for Stephen and TTP struggles... IMO she will help them and be against the founder at the end if ....
The thing about Russell is that he has been wanting out of the lair for a while now, they've shown that on the show so I think it is completely logical that he didn't use his better judgment. He wants to be free so he let the Found blindside him.
Yeah, I agree with that he's wanted out of the lair since the start of the series but who wouldn't? The Lair is nice and all but being now there for years it's like you're just wasting your life down there.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
