  2. I am so glad everyone has their memories back now! Really happy they didn't drag that out.

Regina and Robin are the cutest. And LOL at Henry being starstruck that his mom is dating Robin Hood.

Thank God Captain Swan has (temporarily, unfortunately) been sunk. I don't want them together.

Surprise!Neal was nice. And I knew Snow would go into labor at the end of the episode!

    Great episode!

  3. Zelena's eyes when she's angry are amazing!!!

  4. There were some problems with pacing and directing, some inconsistecies and scenes I didn't like and it's possible I'll like this episode less when I will watch it again in the morning but I loved OQ and Regina/Henry scenes! And I'm soo hyped up by the fact the it was Regina's TL kiss that broke the curse and that we got that wonderful scene between Regina, Henry and Robin that I don't know whether I'll be able to fall asleep even though it's 3 a.m. here;) It was purely great :)

  5. Loved that we finally got some long awaited answers and plot dev! so glad that the memory curse was broken and Henry can participate more in the plots... Fantastic scene with the Charmings and Regina as the curse was being cast, just really great work by all. Loved that it was the kiss from Regina that finally broke the curse as well. Nice reveal that it was Neal who charged Hook with finding Emma, and I'm glad that the WW's plan to use Hook is out in the open as well...... really enjoyed the ep

  6. Awesome episode!

Awww at Snow and Charming sharing a heart. That is so cute but I can't shake the feeling that if one of them dies, then both of them will.

I was not expecting Regina to get the chance to kiss Henry on the forehead to bring back their memories! That was a nice change.

Loved seeing Emma using her magic to free Henry from Zelena. Can't wait for the epic Emma vs. Zelena battle in the finale.

I had a feeling Neal was the one that sent the message to Hook to get Emma! Awesome.

Snow and Charming's baby is coming! Zelena better stay away.

  7. Now that was some true love! I was too busy wondering who the hell was parading around as Charming since they got back to get teary-eyed over his sacrifice, but I certainly DID get teary-eyed when Snow and Regina saved him. I'm just a romantic sap like that. Also loved Henry remembering Regina and Regina breaking the curse. Now she's got Henry and Robin and I'm happy but filled with dread at the same time... Is she REALLY going to get a happy ending? I mean I'd love it if she did, but I'll be holding my breath until Zelena is dealt with. Oh and Neal being the one to send Hook to New York was a happy surprise.

  8. Loved the episode, one thing I'm confused about was who were the monkeys that burst into flames when Hook, Regina and Emma shot them? They better not have been Little John, Aurora, Phillip or Walsh!

  9. love it love that it was Regina kiss that broke the curse happy!!!! that Henry got his memory back love Regina and Robin Hood love seeing that my theory was right that Nealfire since the note and potion to Hook hope this mean no CaptainSwan can't stand them together love them as characters just not together hoping my theory that Emma was going to be Dorothy in this story but since Dorothy in next week episode my theory isn't true but overall love this episode can't believe we have only three episodes left it's going to be a long summer

    ReplyDelete
  10. Captain Swan won't sink quite that easily, CS haters. Overcoming obstacles has defined their relationship since day one. In comparison to the rest of the stuff they've been through, this is a VERY minor setback. Don't kid yourselves. I'd be very surprised if it's not fixed by the season finale.

  11. Great episode! So glad everyone has their memories back, and I really like how they got them back too.

Loved all the Regina scenes in this episode. Regina and Robin were really cute. I liked how the scenes with Regina and the Charmings were funny, as well as sweet. I really, really enjoyed the scenes with Henry and Regina. I loved that they had Henry show so much concern and love for Regina, and even their bonding moment after they got their memories back.

Snow and Charming were so sweet and romantic in this episode! I loved all of their scenes together. My favorite line between them was when Snow said she has loved him since they met, and Charming replied that he will love her until his last. That dialogue and scene had so much romance and symmetry, it was almost poetic.

I'm really looking forward to Snow's delivery! Looks eventful...again!

  12. Such an amazing episode. I loved how Emma is the key to defeat Zelena. That Snow cast the curse, How Zelena threw in a forgetting potion. I loved how This curse really affected Regina. I loved how Snow found a solution for she and Charming share one heart. I loved how the book appearing to Snow in the cabinet. I loved how Emma asking Henry to believe and touching the book allowed Henry's memories come back. I loved how Regina's true loves kiss on Henry broke their curse,

  13. The poll isn't showing for me...

  14. Interesting how they've made Emma into Regina in Season 1, but with more yelling and lying, ironically.

The Outlaw Queen stuff is cute, I'm so, SO glad that Regina got the Robin Hood story rather than the creepy, sexist one they've got going with Emma and Hook.

I know Regina has a dark heart and all but are we forgetting all about Snow murdering Cora last year and her heart having a big dark spot. I really wish we would get some sort of description of darkening a heart means, considering we know Snow and Charming have killed people and done plenty of selfish things.

The most hilarious line was Snow talking about footwear being precious. Snow hasn't worn a nice pair of boots or shoes in Storybrooke EVER.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It's right from Dragonheart, the sharing a heart.

  16. This was one of the best episodes of the whole season so far. I love this show and it's my favorite show on TV right now.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Very good episode, but not a fan of fake out deaths.
Aside form that, I enjoyed it a lot

    ReplyDelete
  18. poor Phillip and Aurora, they killed a few flying monkeys but i am afraid they could be innocent people.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Loved this episode! There's so much good stuff on Sunday nights. OUAT, Resurrection, Revenge, Believe, Crisis, Drop Dead Diva, Devious Maids, Game Of Thrones. My god!!

  20. You and I watched season 1 very differently

    ReplyDelete
  21. You said they've turned Emma into Regina in season 1...?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I just didn't understand it, that's all.

    ReplyDelete
  23. A lot of people complain about how much Regina lied to Henry about the curse and how she "kept him away from his family." Emma was lying, yelling at him, pawning him off on people, and planning on taking him away from his mother.

    ReplyDelete
  24. No people complained because she lied to him and made him feel like he was crazy because he knew the truth. Emma was lying to him along with everyone else, including Regina, and she 'pawns him off on people' because she has to go defeat a wicked witch and that's a little dangerous for a kid don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Brilliant episode, I loved how Regina broke the curse this time when she kissed Henry. There was so much heart in this episode, I loved the dialogue between the Charming's, their True Love is beautiful and now it's shared, but the dialogue was heartfelt and true.

I'm so happy Regina has found love, and they seem so happy, seeing Henry run to Regina was awesome. The reunion was great. I thought Glinda was beautiful, and the pendant thing was cool.

The story is really good this episode, things moved quickly, there were great one liners especially from Regina, why stopped to smell the Roses :)

Robin Hood was cool, I really liked some of the scenery, the graveyard were Neal was buried at the end was nice. The door to Glinda was very nice, reminded me of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. It was so awesome of Neal to send Hook the memory potion, he remains a true hero.

Everyone's fairy tale costumes were cool. I really enjoyed that Rumple only helped and gave them clues when Belle gave her hand to him. I love those two characters.

This season is brilliant and I can't wait for Dorothy in the next episode! Also more Glinda and the Charming's baby.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yeah, because she didn't want to have to explain it to him. Regina lying to him was because there was no positive outcome, a positive outcome of Emma telling him the truth earlier would have been that he got to be with his actual mother.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well they're both his 'actual' mothers and Henry would have thought Emma and everyone was insane if they told him anything which is why they waited until there was a magical way to get his memories back. Regina could have easily told him and Emma would have had no choice but to explain the situation, but she didn't.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Right, insane. Just like what everyone thought he was in Season 1. You see where I'm going with this? The situation being reversed.

Did you watch this episode? There wasn't a magical way to get his memories back. It was him believing. Something they could have done at the beginning, but Regina, for some reason, actually respects Emma.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It was a magical way because he touched the book. It wasn't just him shouting 'I believe', he had to touch the storybook which is in some way magical because it appears when needed.

When they would talk about his memories, they would just talk about him remembering his life but believing was never brought up until this episode. It just so happened that that is the way he remembered.

    ReplyDelete
  30. OMG! EPIC episode! it had everything! I almost cried with Snow and Charming Goodbye it feel so wrong seeing one of them dead!
Hood and Regina, awww arent they sweet?
And i'm more than happy that it was Regina's true love kiss that broke the curse, i wnt that to happen so bad! i was absolutely happy that it went that way!
Zelena is on the ebst Villians since Regina ons eason one, Rebecca is a great actress and damn her eyes are hypnotizing

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow. Watched completely different shows apparently...

    ReplyDelete
  32. It was the book. The creators of the show themselves have hinted in interviews that the book itself is a special thing. That seemed clear to me from the scene...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Amazing! It had me in tears!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I haven't posted here in a while, but I had to pop in and say...I am really enjoying this season. For me it was an extremely good idea to bring Regina into the fold and give everyone a new villain to fight against. When Regina split Snow's heart I was rooting for things to work out between her and Robin cause....I actually want the woman to be happy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wasn't Henry given the story book sometime this 2nd half of the season? I remember someone gave it to him at the diner...so I was confused as to why they were looking for it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow, harsh treatment of Hook by both Emma and the Charmings. I get they are mad that he didn't just come forward with the kiss curse but to insta villianize him? WOW. He's done nothing but help them all freaking season.

    ReplyDelete
  37. They look fine in the promo, Hook is marching off to battle with them and then there's another shot of him falling over and Emma bending down over him all concerned, so I'm not worried. I do think Emma and the Charmings were overly harsh though, he's done nothing but help the the ENTIRE SEASON.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I get deliberate pararell with Emma yelling at Henry in this ep but she no way lied more or even yelled more or was eviler then season one Regina. That's just crazy talk.

    ReplyDelete
  39. There was a flashback scene of when Snow originally gave him the book in the PAST. That's how they knew to raid her closet for it, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes I remember that flashback, but it was at school. I really thought they had given it to him again to get him away from the video games. But I guess I'll see it again when the DVD is out.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yea I felt bad for him too.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Of course, they didn't send the message, so the Charmings thought Hook was lying. And because of his history, it's understandable they question what is up. So, while he has been struggling all season, I think that will come out in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Regina seemed to be emotional with that scene. What is also interesting, she has half-like emotions now, and look at the pathos she has with Robin and Henry. She is going to be real powerful, and a force for good, if she gets her heart back. She is, in many ways, Darth Vader.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I still am still not getting Zelena's story. Something is off with it all. For example, why the time spell works as it does except random imitation of Oz.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Regina has officially become Darth Vader, but what Darth Vader would have been like if survived. She started off with a good heart but she went through a lot of heartache which turned her to the dark side. But, it is clear, the wounds were what made her evil, and behind it all, there was always some of that original good in her (Henry saw it and brought it out). Now, she has come full circle. She still has issues, still has wounds, but she shows care and concern for the Charmings (the heart scene, you can tell her feelings with the expression on her face). Sure, it is Henry and Robin and Emma who are the motivating figures who are helping her get back to her good side, yet it's clear, she now feels tied to the Charmings (love and hate fit together). Emma trusting her when they got back was, I think, what solidified her change to the good, and Robin/Henry will keep pushing her forward, to new heights of goodness.

But, how can the Charmings have a pure heart now? They cast a curse. Even with good intentions, I feel the twist is next season, the change of heart in them will cause them to be villains. Perhaps their reaction to Hook is indication of this.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Idea for the next season. Way out there idea.
Now that Disney owns LucasFilm, and Star Wars is coming back, bring Star Wars characters into the OUAT mix. Use the "EU" characters, giving them a "reality" somewhere. Modify them to fit the show, but use them. This would be a way to bring a new villain into the show -- I would either bring in Revan or Thrawn.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I only write, that there was nothing weak in this episode. I LOVED EVERYTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I didn't say 'evilier'. Although we have yet to see one time Regina has yelled at Henry. But I'd say lied about the same amount.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Okay, I can grant that. But it magically showed up as soon as they wanted to tell Henry. Something that could have been accomplished several episodes ago.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The Charmings only had pure hearts for plot purposes, considering we actually SAW Snow's heart with our own eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  51. People tend to take someone almost murdering their child pretty seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  52. You mean the book that appeared as soon as they wanted it? So if they wanted it a few episodes ago, MAGIC.

    ReplyDelete
  53. PRobably. Emma has always been an antagonist to me.

    ReplyDelete
  54. What I am saying is that now that they have cast the curse, the heart will not be pure. Curses are like that. I believe they will be a part of the problem in the next season -- magic always has negative consequences and all that.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I don't think so. They cast it with pure intentions. Plus, a curse in which no one died and was cast with pure intentions sounds a lot less bad than murder and treason. Which is what Glinda's door ignored and pronounced them pure of heart.

More likely it's the half-heart thing that will be the negative consequence.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The show has said many times that magic is a problem because of its consequences. When casting a curse, that's dark magic. There is no way to come out unscathed from it, no matter the intention (road to hell is paved with good intentions). Glinda pronounced them pure of heart before the curse, after all.

    ReplyDelete
  57. But after magical MURDER.

    Casting a curse. Murder.

    ReplyDelete
  58. There was time between the murder and the present, so it could have been purified. There has been no purification of the curse, which is, also, more powerful than mere murder, because it has helped cause death and destruction on a wide scale.

    ReplyDelete
  59. That doesn't make any sense, but even if it did, I highly doubt it's going to be an issue.

    ReplyDelete
  60. How doesn't it make any sense? There was time after the murder for penance to be done, for restitution to be done so that the heart could have been made pure. On the other hand, with the curse, there has been no chance for such purification and the curse has a far greater evil associated with it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Beating Zelena, keeping people safe, that should probably do it. Considering they brought people from a hellish medieval world to a place with medicine, I'm not really seeing the greater evil.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Good intentions, again, pave the way to hell. The ends do not justify the means.

    ReplyDelete
  63. So basically, invisible not-shown penance could purify a heart in a few months, but helping people, keeping people safe, protecting them against a great evil that turns humans into animals and plans to erase the lives of many, many people is the road to hell. Okay then.

Even from an OUAT perspective, which at best, pays no attention to continuity or sense at all, that isn't very logical. Snow choosing Charming over the life of her child was treated as romantic, so I highly doubt what is being treated as a heroic act and sacrifice will have ANY consequences whatsoever.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well, we don't know what has gone on in those months. It must be something which they did. Suffering through the losses they went through might be enough. However, again, ends do not ever justify the means. That is something this show has also been about several times. The curse is going to curse the one who said it. It's in the cards.

Snow also didn't choose Charming over the life of her child. Charming sacrificed himself. She was torn as to what she should do, but her action was, child over Charming.

    ReplyDelete
  65. On OUAT the ends ALWAYS justify the means. That's the entire point of the show. Again, I highly doubt it. They wouldn't have shown it to be heroic if they meant it otherwise, OUaT is not deep. At any rate, there is no penance for murder that should EVER completely purify a heart.

And yes, she did. Regina told her she could die if she took out Snow's heart and split it in half. She chose the risk of death for herself and her child bring Charming back

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think when Snow used that tear potion in 2x22 to find Regina, it was counted as redemption, and that's why the dark spot is gone. She only did it because she felt she owed Regina because of Cora.

    ReplyDelete
  67. An antagonist? For real? Emma is the farthest thing from an antagonist in the entire show. Not to be rude in any way, but are you sure your using that word correctly? If so, explain how Emma, the Savior is an antagonist. I am genuinely curious as to why or how you could possible think that.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I don't get how you say the show is about the ends justifying the means, when the means constantly cause problem after problem -- the point seems to be that if you lived such an ideology, you ruin everything around you (the whole point of Regina's story!).

And she did not know if she would die or not. However, she could easily assume, if Charming wasn't there with her, she would be at greater risk!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Just a quick observation. Hook is no saint, and we know that very well, but he has been trying to change. So although I don't condone their villainizing him so fast, we can't forget that's what OUAT has been doing to its greyer characters from day one. Sure, Regina in S1 was supposed to be the villain, but there were many opportunities in S2 when she proved herself, helped the Charmings, endangered her own life for their sake, and people still refused to see the good side in her. Apparently they trust her know, but it's been three years. Hook has been around for much less time, so I don't find it exactly surprising that they'd be quick to judge him.

    ReplyDelete
  70. It was a rather enjoyable episode, once you get past all the ridiculousness. Apparently, the writers have gone all "screw logic and continuity, let's give people EMOTIONS!", which meant a lot of:
    - romance (Outlaw Queen, Snowing, Rumbelle, Captain Swan);
    - parent-child moments (Regina/Henry!!!, Regina/Snow!, Snow/Emma, Emma/Henry, Rumple/Neal, Snow&David/unborn-baby-whose-life-was-risked-while-enacting-the-curse-and-is-luckily-not-the-thing-its-mother-loves-most);
    - sass+class (a la Evil Queen) vs. "British hotsauce"
To sum, the best thing about the whole episode was the Regina/Emma role reversal and Regina's love being the key to breaking the curse (though they could've at least bothered to explain why).
Also, Regina/David should get more scenes together, I absolutely love their interactions!

    ReplyDelete
  71. what do you mean? i think it is because Oz is ina diferent realm so teh curse dont strike the same?

    ReplyDelete
  72. No, I'm asking -- why does the time spell need: brains, heart, courage? What about them makes it "work"? I understand they are using them because those three were what Dorothy's companions wanted in Wizard of Oz, but that doesn't explain why, within the story being told, they work together with a pure baby to produce time magic.

    ReplyDelete
  73. so maybe you could write down all the ridiculous and unlogical things you have noticed, and dont forget all tthings that are against continuity. I'm really curios.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Such a fantastic ep! Loved it! Glad Regina was the one to return their memories. Emma is sooo mad at Killian! Such a sacrifice for Charming but it paid off in the end. Nice twist that it was Snow who cast the curse & not Zelena. Awwww to Regina & Robin! So glad Henry has his memories back. They were taking far too long on that front. I am so pleased that it was Neal who sent the potion & note to Killian to get Emma. Zelena really isn't that great of a villian but if it gets me an OZ storyline, then so be it. I was a bit disappointed by Glinda's small appearence, but we get more of her next wk. I wonder if Phillip & Auroa will be turned back (that is if they aren't killed before then. Are the flying monkeys being killed?)? Over all a very great ep!

    ReplyDelete
  75. You're right Regina just quietly emotionally manipulated him and gaslighted him, she didn't need to yell. And apparently a parent yelling at their kid to do as he's told is a bad thing.

    ReplyDelete
  76. that's a good question the only thing they had said is that she needs it to cast a time curse that's what Belle found, but why those things exactly, she didnt say why i guess it is just to give something more from the real Oz story.

    ReplyDelete
  77. What i think is that, remember that Snow had a little bit of darkness in her heart? what about now that is split that darkness remain only in one side (being Charming the one side that got it) and in season three we see the consequenses about that split. It's not his ehart and his body knows it so he will start to act diferent and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  78. The characters are constantly saying it. Rumple, Regina, the entire plot of 3B is about it.

Right, she did not know if she would die or not. And why would she be at greater risk without Charming? He can't protect her nearly as well as pretty much every other character.

    ReplyDelete
  79. That is pretty messed up. My own personal feeling is that nothing 'owed' can make up for murder.

    ReplyDelete
  80. The irony of this comment is great and hilarious I'm going to have to post it elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Maybe antagonist is the wrong word but she's DEFINITELY not the farthest thing from it. I just can' reconcile someone who gets illegally involved with a small child against the parent's wishes before abducting them multiple times and getting them involved in felonies to be particularly heroic. I also don't find 'Saviour' to be all that grand a description, considering it was entirely created by someone who wanted to use her by putting her parents special love juice on a piece of paper.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hearts. Everything with hearts.

    ReplyDelete
  83. the only thing I can think of is the book, Henry was already given the book in one of the previous episodes, he was sitting at grans diner and somebody gave it to him. I guess the writers forgot about that scene...

    ReplyDelete
  84. Uh...okay then. Ironic how?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well let's see...
    - Regina's magic is suddenly inferior to that of every other witch/magic practitioner (Zelena/Emma/Rumple/Glinda). She had a hard time handling Cora's ghost, for crying out loud! They just built her up too much in s1, and now it feels like they're trying too hard to impress us with Zelena's powers and Emma's powers at Regina's expense. If they had at least offered an explanation, I wouldn't mind so much, but they didn't bother. Someone could've observed, for example, that Regina's mastery of dark magic is decreasing because she's started to redeem herself, or something to that effect. As it is, it just feels forced.
    - They're changing the rulebook on hearts as they go, to suit the plot. Snow's heart is back to being "pure", although we saw it beginning to darken after Cora's murder, and Regina expressly stated that once it starts to darken, it only grows darker. You'd think that someone whose mother was The Queen of Hearts would know all there is to know about hearts - I guess Regina has been a REALLY BAD STUDENT of both Cora and Rumple. She didn't even suspect that hearts could be split and transplanted to loved ones until Snow had the brilliant idea - I bet Regina's kicking herself she never thought of that trick when she could've revived Daniel/her father/her mother/Henry(in Neverland)!
    - After Emma lied and yelled at Henry, Regina didn't react at all. I half-expected her to run after Henry, or at least to make a quip about the role-reversal with Emma, but instead they shoehorned Hook's arc, which was a bit anti-climatic.
    - The Dark Curse - when Regina was trying to enact it, she gathered "those with the darkest souls" around a fire and threw a lock of hair from each of them over the fire. When she actually enacted it, she just tossed her father's heart (who btw died instantly when she ripped it out, another inconsistency) into the fire. When Peter Pan enacted it, he tossed "the ingredients" into the magic well and crushed Felix' heart over it. Snow also crushed David's heart, over a boiling cauldron of ingredients.
    - Snow and David again trusted their eyes over common sense and didn't doubt Glinda for a second. Knowing that Regina impersonated Ursula, Cora impersonated the Blue Fairy and Regina, Pan impersonated Henry, should have taught them something, right? Oh wait, there's a reason Regina lovingly calls them "the two idiots".
    - Well the show has been pretty consistent in showing that Snow loves David more than their children and that goes both ways, but that doesn't make it any less creepy. I don't find that romantic at all. Seriously, the baby got lucky that Snow loves David more than anyone else. Because if the baby had been "the thing she loves most", then the curse wouldn't have worked and David's heart would've been sacrificed for nothing.

    - Meanwhile, it never occurred to Hook to tell Emma about Zelena's plan and then just pretend they had kissed. The best he came up with was to send Henry off with Smee on a motor boat (?) to New York, leaving Emma to deal with the Wicked Witch in Storybrooke.

These are the ridiculous developments in the episode that stood out the most.

    ReplyDelete
  86. And the Award for Worst Student of the Subject of Hearts goes to...Regina Mills, daughter of the Queen of Hearts; longtime protégé of Rumplestiltskin; longtime collector of hearts in her own right. (I really wish I could find a gif of Regina saying to MM/Snow in 2x18 "You know what my problem is? I never learn.")
Cora, Dr. Frankenstein and Snow White have made advancements in the field, but poor Regina is yet to contribute knowledge.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I don't even know how to respond to this. We are definitely not watching the same show, or at least we are watching it through different lenses. No point to further discussion, though I do respect your opinion even though it makes no sense to me :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Quite nice episode, but watching Jared S. Gilmore act is just painfully awkward. I know it's the role and everything. I'd like to see him in another role, see how he's doing there.
    Regina and Robin were cute.
I can't shake the feeling that this show has too many Deus-ex-machina moments. And every once in a while a character sums up some events, weird pacing there.
But enough with the criticism, the show is still very enjoyable.

  89. Re: Regina's magic - the problem is that it just feels off for Regina not to have a single victory in s3B. She gets neutralised even before she can raise her hands to use magic. Where is her ability to control nature - make tree branches grow instantly & restrain her enemies, where is her ability to move objects with a toss of her head while controlling other weapons (which she used to defeat Maleficent in no time), where is her ability to adapt to and counter magic used against her before (like she countered the Blue Fairy's magic)? Lately she gets tossed around, paralysed, knocked out, can't figure out a way to pass through portals (like the one Glinda put), resorts primarily to fireballs and choking. I get that there could be an explanation as to why Rumple/Zelena/Emma are more powerful than her, I just find it out of character for her not to be able to put up a fight.

Re: Hearts and curses - "maybe it has something to do..." - Precisely. You're filing in the gaps in continuity which I pointed out. If the writers insist on using flashbacks and adding things to the timeline, they should be better at addressing continuity issues.

Re: Emma yelling at Henry - again, it felt out of character for Regina not to react at all.

Re: Snow and David trusting Glinda - it was just ridiculous, that's all.

Re: Snow's love for the baby - well, it bothers me personally, because I've been brought up to believe that parents should love their children more than anything else. That's one of the reasons why I've always favoured Regina over the Charmings or Rumple.

Re: "pretend they have kissed? You think Zelena wouldnt know?" - yes, I do think she wouldn't know. If she were omnipotent and knew everything that happened in Storybrooke, she would've known that Regina took her own heart out before the Wicked vs Evil showdown, but she didn't. Rumple couldn't sense magic just by looking at a person, so there's no proof it's even possible.

  90. And yet Zelena had no idea that Regina had taken out her heart. So obviously she doesn't know everything.

  91. Again, everything with hearts. The dark curse. Snow's heart. Snow choosing Charming over the child she was carrying. That sort of thing.

  92. That's not true! She pulled a heart in half in this episode, even though the slightest pressure has been known to brutally hurt people and crush the heart to dust.

  93. Yeah, I agree. Everything with Snow's heart and Snow choosing Charming over her child AGAIN is just terrible.

And with magic beans, mermaids, magic slippers, the shadow, pegasus feathers, looking glasses, magic wardrobes/dust from magic wardrobes, cyclones and magic hats, they had to go with the dark curse out of all the things?

  94. Well that's what I take as the show's way of dealing with the situations. I'm not saying it's perfect. It just is.

  95. how the timeline make no sense?

  96. First things first:
    - Regina, having shot to the top of my 'favorite OUAT characters' last season, has now extended her lead to the extent that she is unsurpassable for a while.
    - Hood has now entered the Top 5 of my above mentioned list. List reads as such:
    1. Regina 2. Rumple 3. Snow White 4. Emma 5. Hood
