Even though that was a horrible wedding dress and they got married by a fucking rabbit, this series finale was ten times better than HIMYM's. And the end was cute!
So glad Ana survived. Hope she goes will Will to OUAT! I need them to have adventures there together, please.
Wow, there was a lot packed into that one episode. But overall I liked it; definitely a satisfying finale. And it was a great conclusion to Cyrus/Alice & their parents' storylines. I'm guessing Alice's daughter would've been the center of the story if a second season had been asked for by ABC.
I also like that they left possibilities for the Jabberwocky, Rabbit, Jafar, Knave, & Ana to continue on in OUAT as cameo's or even as a mini-series add-ons - especially since I found those characters much more interesting than Cyrus, Alice & their respective family members.
Actually, there's a lot of potential for certain things to be incorporated into OUAT to help deal with plot holes, et cetera. For example, the Well of Wonders could easily be brought in to deal with any deaths that they want to undo.
Absolutely Brilliant!!! I loved the ending, Alice and Cyrus' Wedding, thank you Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz for creating an awesome miniseries of sorts, I wish it could have went on, but in what little episodes you had you created something I enjoyed. And They Lived...
Love it lot of action in one episode thank you Adam and Eddie for a amazing show sorry to see this show go hope these characters can make a cameo on Once Upon A Time
There's been so much to watch this season, OUATIW was one of the shows I had to put on the "later" list, especially since I knew it was most likely only getting one season and I'd prefer to have the complete experience in as short a time as possible. I've been worried how it would end since ABC took a while to decide that it would definitely only be 13 episodes but I'm really thrilled to see these comments, sounds like it's definitely worth finishing! I'll start tonight, maybe. :)
This makes me wonder if maybe they left out any information about Ana also on OUAT to avoid spoiling the ending of the finale. I really hope we see her too - especially since it would be a great way to bring in Cinderella & the faeries.
I'm glad they were able to wrap everything up. I always hate when things end on some big cliff-hanger where it's obvious the show as cancelled and they didn't have time to give it an ending so I was thrilled that this show actually did have a real ending.
I'm disappointed to hear that the Knave is going to cross-over to OUAT and not Anna because they were together when this ended so I'm assuming that means that they're planning on breaking them up or killing off Anna.
They better bring over Ana too or there is no point. After everything they've been through they should be together.
If OUAT is just going to break them up then I"d rather they not use Will at all. Knowing those writers, they'd break them up just to throw another love interest at Emma.
If OUAT brings in Will but not Ana it will be lame. After everything, those two deserve a happy ending together.
The writing on OUAT isn't that great, and that without Ana there they'd be tempted to throw will at Emma a love-interest. After all, that's what they do with almost every important male on the show.
If they are going to break up Will and Ana, I'd rather them not be used at all.
This was a perfect finale. I said it before and I'll say it again, there was absolutely no need for a second season. We got a complete story with these characters with a perfect ending. Some of them can definitely cross over to OUAT, but I've gotten all I wanted (and more!) out of Alice, Cyrus, and Jafar. A+ for the finale, A- for the series.
To be honest, I don't think OUAT needed more than one season. They could have done a OUAT in... each season with characters crossing over from the other ones occasionally. That would have kept it fresh and shown the different universes in their respective glory. Lets be honest - after season 1 the quality of OUAT declined greatly yet the writing for OUATIW has been fantastic and on point.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt was a perfect ending.. AND THEY LIVE.. happily ever after
ReplyDeletewell Adam and Eddy did an intevriew with TV Guide today for OUAT and basically confirmed that we'll see the Knave on OUAT next season
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it and the series much more than I thought it would! :) Now I hope some of these characters appear in OUAT.

ReplyDeletethey also said it was possible for us to see other characters from the show but as of right now they're just planning on him.
ReplyDeleteThe Knave is moving to OuaT next season as a regular :)

ReplyDeleteI am only sad because of Jabberwocky. But rest was just... BEYOND AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteOr they will just mention, that Ana is happy about to give birth to Knave's baby (boy or girl).
ReplyDeleteThat was a horrible wedding dress and they got married by a rabbit, but that was still ten times better than HIMYM. The end was really cute!
ReplyDeleteReally hoping Ana goes with Will to OUAT next season. I need that to happen.
And that was a great series finale. Perfect!
