  3. I fell asleep near the end.
When the CBS renewals were released I could not understand why TGW was renewed quickly and TM likely not. The big difference to me was ownrs. I get it. The viewers are smart and app cbs too about the shows. They had no real idea how well that show would do over TM but they were right in calculating it. The case tonight should have been interesting and effective but so obvious. The wife doing it you see within a minute, the loud attention to clock on the computer, too easy to put together. Some of Jane's lines nice but his brilliance was changing clocks? What is going on in the head of the writers I dunno.welp It was nearly impossible to make a interesting description so boring but it was accomplished.

John de Lancie does a good job of playing arrogant characters, glad to see he wasn't the murderer though since it would have been too boring.

  7. You are unbelievable. Every week, without fail. I'm bemused that you still watch the show, seriously. Why do you torture yourself so much when you clearly don't like it all that much? So you can come on here and write a block of text that makes little to no sense? Get a life.

  9. I knew from the moment I saw her that the wife was guilty but other than that it was an entertaining episode.
I'm not sure what the writers plan to do with Jisbon. We see Jane wait for Lisbon, compliment her, call her by her name and averall act like sad rejected man but he's not doing anything to win her over or even show her clearly that he wants to be with herso I'm afraid that unless sth dramatic happens in last episode, they won't end up together:(

  10. Agreed on everything - figured it out early on but still enjoyed it, and wondering if we'll see Jane fight or just let her be "happy" with someone else.
Since prospects are looking dim for another season, I really hope the last few episodes bring them together for a happy, satisfying finish.

  12. It saddens me that my issues with the creative direction of the show since RJ was dealt with end up almost ruining every episode for me.

Firstly we have the basic problems, like how badly both the FBI insignia's and the bomb squad insiginia's looked last night, seriously i could make ones that look more realistic than the ones on the vests of the agents.

Then we have the case premise itself, apart from double jeopardy not applying even if an innocent man is convicted, if the evidence is found they can still convict someone of murder, not to mention even without the evidence to convict on the first murder, didn't she also kill 2 more people, so why the hell would she be that relieved to know the guy was dead.

But we then have the fact that in order for the plot to work they have to fudge the basic facts of when an execution takes place, something that is so easily looked up it was embarrassing.

The worst thing though is since the reboot they've not just reboot the setting but the characters also, they've rebooted them so far that they're barely recognisable anymore.

Suddenly Jane's bothered that Lisbon's dating, suddenly Lisbon's answering her phone to a date while walking to a suspect's door, these aren't the characters that we've spent six years getting to know, they're imposters being manipulated by writers who can't even remember they're own creations motivations.

Bringin Jane and Lisbon together after all this time, after everything they've gone through and especially after RJ, is something that with a little thought and effort could and should be something incredible.

Having Jane go through everything he's gone through and then realising that not only was Lisbon there by his side for everything but he actually loves her, would in the hands of a decent writer be absolute goldust.

Instead we get both characters acting ooc, we get other people filling in the exposition and asking the questions the characters themselves won't, (seriously Fisher asking how Jane feels about Lisbon and Wiley talking about whether or not Jane and Lisbon are together isn't just bad writing it's downright criminal).

They ruined the RJ arc by rushing the ending of it and giving us the worst possible RJ all in order to reboot the show which is fine if they actually had a sense of direction in mind for the reboot, instead we get a lets forget about everything these people have been through and who they are and what makes them who they are and instead make them blank slates.

Some people are so willing to gloss over the flaws just so they can have Jisbon that they're missing the point a little, we're not getting the Jisbon we should be getting, we're getting a pale imitation, we're getting a version of SKATE, were the 2 may have been meant to be together but the writers messed it up so badly that in the end we preffered SULIET.

It bugs me to see how badly they're handling things, to see the show limp to the finish rather than go out on a high, it bugs me to see the interaction between Jane and LIsbon which has gone from something handled really well to something which looks really forced and it bugs me that they're using the cheap tactic of Jealousy to make Jisbon happen.

I'll watch to the end because i've been here from the beginning, but i'm not sad that it will be the end and that bugs me more than anything.
