  1. Whoa! Pissed off!Coulson is the best. And I'm confused. Was the end with Fury part of the episode or part of the Captain America trailer?

  2. It was a scene from Captain America :)

  3. captain america, but sitwell also got sent to a ship so thats interesting for the movie too! I loved this episode and can't wait for more, It's really getting better and better and I hope the ratings reflect that! hiatuses suck!!!

  4. Wow. Loved it! This show is just getting better & better - I can't wait till Friday :D I wonder if we'll be getting cameos from Sitwell, Blake, Hand, Garrett, and/or Coulson in the movie. (If you know, don't tell me!)

  5. There was a scene with Fury? Well that was nice of CTV to not show that. I hope someone will upload it. I knew there was supposed to be some tie in with Captain America and I just thought I was missing something.

  6. Woah, that was awesome!

I'm so happy that Skye is finally a SHIELD agent. I believe she has really proven herself to be a member of the team.

With Nick Fury finally back on the grid, hopefully Skye and Coulson can get some real answers soon.

I'm not jumping to conclusions on May yet. It may be just a high level SHIELD mission that the other's can't know about. But damn, that scene with her, Skye, and Coulson was intense as hell.

I'm really loving the addition of Garrett to the team. He is fantastic. Let's just hope he doesn't betray the team.

I knew there was something fishy going on with Hand! It seems like we finally found out who the Clairvoyant is. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a red herring.

  7. next week is the main tie in episode, you had to first see this one then see the movie, then come back, everything will completely change over the course of a single weekend :0

  8. Oh I didn't know that! I just thought this week was the tie in episode. Thanks!

  9. yeah, the consequences carry through the rest of the season, so really the rest of the season is :) but there is also a nice clip of fury

  10. What a fantastic episode! Skye finally became a SHIELD agent!.... right before the shit hits the fan. What luck! haha there was so much to love about this episode! Agent Blake being saucy with May, Deathlok giving everyone a run for their money, Garrett's really weird and onimous comments to Skye... he's a HYDRA agent, I feel it in my bones! Also May as the mole is a total red herring, it's GOTTA be Ward! He shot Thomas Nash under orders, and used "guilt" and "concern" for Skye and the team as a cover... Ward is definitely sketchy, and Coulson knows it! When Coulson confronted him, Ward didn't give him a clear answer.... stalling for Hand to make her move, I bet!

I'm seeing Winter Soldier this Thursday and I CANNOT WAIT to finally be in the know and be prepared for next week. Seriously, I feel bad for people who gave up on this show; shit is getting INSANE, I'm hooked!!!

  11. As far as I know, only Sitwell appears in the film.

  12. Wonder if they're gonna do a double-bluff with Hand like in the comics.

  14. This show, The Goldbergs, then Growing Up Fisher, followed by The Game makes a great Tuesday night for TV.

  15. What a crazy episode and I mean that in the best way. The scene with May chasing Fitz was so intense. I must see CA:TWS asap.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Do you want to know? i already watched Captain America :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think I'm good! I'm pretty sure I know what happens, I've been spoiled quite a bit already haha but thank you!

  18. loved it. Great setup for what's to come and perhaps what might take place in CA:TWS, as I think that Simmons was supposed to be at the Triskelion, which is where some of the film takes place, and from the promos, it looks like there's an internal struggle within SHIELD.... yay Skye is official! the whole Fitz, May, Coulson, and Skye sequence was tight and intense and well executed. Loved seeing seeing the agents from the Marvel one offs as well

  19. This was so hard to watch if you have seen Captain America already because certain actions and character moments made me go 'oh no!!!!!!!' but it is a great set-up to that film whilst still tying into the S1 arc for AOS.

The everything is connected tagline really makes sense especially as the writers must have known from the start where they would end up because of CA:WTS so anyone saying the season was too slow or had no long term story is talking rubbish, it totally has.

  20. Deathlok is awesome. I loved how it was Fitz which discovered May's unauthorized secure line in the cockpit. I loved how Coulson put together the information on the Clairvoyant. I loved how they cornered May.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It seems Joss Whedon is a certified genius tying the two plot lines together.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I loved this episode it had very high adventure and suspense as they zero in on the clairvoyant.

Ok, this is the first episode that made me feel the series is going somewhere. Also, who doesn't love a creepy Brad Dourif cameo.

    ReplyDelete
  24. As much as I love Joss I would say his involvement is probably minimal, more likely Kevin Feige who is in overall control of the MCU as well as the producers/writers of AoS. Though Joss must have known way in advance what the plot of CA:TWS was so it is a whole lot clearer why he decided to focus on Coulson and SHIELD now for his first Marvel show.

  25. I've been suspicious of Garrett from the start esp as Paxon is a fairly big name seems weird they would just use him as an Agent, though I hope I'm wrong because I like the character.

Yeah, it's partially the casting. The other parts are he seems to be in the exact places the clairvoyant wants to be and he just gives me that slightly creepy vibe.

  27. I think killing Nash was unnecessary. I'd like to see Ward have to face some consequences for that. They're not going to be able to get any information out of his corpse and I think Coulson was right about him being a plant - he may have been more useful alive than dead.

  28. Yeah he was creepy in that scene with Skye!

That was the EXACT scene I first thought of.

  30. There's a certain agent who we know gets to fly in the movie, though not by choice :P

    ReplyDelete
  31. That made me laugh, damn I can't wait for the movie to come out in the US so we don't have to dance around spoilers!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't trust Agent Garrett, and Ward is not the mole, only a Agent of Shield who is loyal to his mentor even if he doesn't know the true face of Garrett, he only killed the fake Clairvoyant because the things he said about Skye and his feelings for her. But I think the real baddy here is Victoria Hand, but none of them is the Clairvoyant, he will be somebody we haven't seen yet.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I believe it might be someone, who was seen in Captain America 2.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes you must. They dropped a few hints to stuff in CA:TWS in this episode. So this one was sort-of a prequel to CA:TWS. Thou, I guess I spoiled myself by having already seen TWS before this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I got spoiled for Cap as well! So annoying, whats your question?

    ReplyDelete
  36. awesome ep! this show gets better and better! :D

    ReplyDelete
  37. Towards the end there is what looks like a really burned man being treated. Who was that?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Pretty sure it was agent Rumlow (think its meant to imply he turns into this comicbook character http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossbones_(comics) )

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks for that! I wouldn't have known where to start looking that up (at least not until I've rewatched it and possibly googled the character's name, though that would be a long shot lol)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I didnt see thor 2 and wasnt confused bout the following episode so basically u dnt have to watch the movie to know what happens next lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. Idk bout that i mean i didnt see Thor 2 and wasn't confused on following episode and pretty sure i won't be next tuesday either lol i'm a quick learner lol

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well, without spoiling too much, I can say that 1 character in this weeks AoS was definitely part of TWS. And that person, may or may not be an ally of SHIELD.

    ReplyDelete
  43. loved the episode.
but let me nitpick for a bit. I'm confused. During the opening of the episode, Deathlok attacked Agent Garrett and the other guy. The other guy shot at Deathlok using the ICER and the bullet hit Deathlok's forehead, and the bullet bounced off it. Revealing what seemed to be something metallic coating Deathlok's skull. When did that happen?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Amazing episode!!! AoS keeps getting better and better!! Can't wait for next week!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I agree with you, I've just seen the episode and to me it looks like he makes a good suspect.
1.) Coulson said Garrett was looking into old files on the rejects of psychics--he could have found Nash, drugged him and then pre-recorded those words.
2.) I thought I saw Nash's eyes widen in fear when Coulson inched closer.--as if the man was scared about what was happening and he couldn't say anything
3.) Garrett was really creepy towards Skye…very creepy
4.) Deathlok didn't kill Garret when they fought in the first scene…he just jumped through the ceiling. Doesn't make sense to me, why go to all the trouble of getting to them, but then leaving them both alive. He could have easily blown them to pieces or choked them.
5.) Garret has been working with Coulson throughout this whole Clairvoyant thingy…therefore he had all the inside information and clearance, and he also would be basically hunting himself so he could be a couple steps ahead.
6.) Since he is always a couple steps ahead, when he says how much he loved Skye's idea and he was all " I like how she thinks," " I like how she thinks."….why did he need to say it two times as if no one heard him. He probably was laughing on the inside how good of a plan it would be, had he not been there.

Anyways, these are just some ramblings. I think i'd be cool for Garrett to be the Clairvoyant, but I love Bill Paxton so much part of the team, and I don't want to see him go.

  46. Awesome without a doubt! Show's definitely found its groove. I'm beyond psyched for next week, and the remainder of the season.

  47. According to the comics Victoria Hand has been part of many Organization including H.A.M.M.E.R. New Avengers. S.H.I.E.L.D and Dark Avengers.

  48. I have question regarding the end, don't think it's spoilery as it's not the end credit etc. It was bad enough I knew how the movie ended for a month due to someone I know going to an early screening xD It's been hard to not blab to someone
