    Horrible beginning. What exactly is Don doing? Evidently he's not going back as there wasn't even a whisper about him. Unless something catastrophic happens like Peggy leaving and joining up with Pete and Don. That may get the partners talking.

    Don is thinking about Megan, "You just keep me hanging on." This marriage is so over.
    Lou is a terrible ad man. He should listen to his creative team, especially Peggy. Stan was no help to Peggy either.
    Did Ken actually lose his eye? I thought it was just injured and he'd get the patch off. Maybe not.
    Vincent Kartheiser seemed like himself, the way he appears in interviews, in this new incarnation of Pete.

    I just hope that Ken doesn't stay grouchy. I like the old fun Ken that was one of the only good men in the office.

    Loved it. My suspicions about "time" or time travel seem to still be possible since this episode so beautifully homed in on time. Just like last season with seeing a character that could of easily been like ' a younger version of Roger' in the premier episode playing to the lighter and Don's identity again, I definitely think the woman on the airplane is a reflection of 'a future Megan'!


    Also loved that they keep playing with the hot and cold contrast (snowballs chance in hell/Hawaii) and interesting contrast with the California house reminding me a bit of Don and Betty's old kitchen (rustic) and still has some contemporaneity aspects of the New York apartment (high, big windows, abstract dividers).


    I hope one way or another Don and Peggy end the series together and hopefully near the ocean at Pasadina.

    Here's the thing, th whole episode something seemed off. It wasn't Mad Men, the acting wasn't there. I actually liked the scene on the airplane, but everything else felt lost.
    I don't like ho Peggy, who had this great arc of evolution became someone who is not listen and don't do anything bold beyond asking again and again if she can use this line. Come on, just make the two campaigns and show the clients, or go behind Lou's back, or go talk to the partners about it. But literally falling down on the floor is so not Peggy. I'd rather see her punching something.
    And Don being this desperate, yes he deserves, but it's like the charm button is off, there's nothing there to like. Even the way Joan went after what she wanted, or how she actually let the guy walk from the reunion, it felt weird. I don't know. I'm disappointed.

    I think Don needs to admit that his marriage is over and start his own company again. Peggy would be on board, spoilers indicate that Pete is only pretending to be happy, and Ken will probably lose his job soon. Give the "hacks" at the old company something to compete with.
