Tim's acting was great this episode. His reaction when Boyd talked about Nicky Augustine conveyed so much that it just makes me sadder that this show is ending next year.
Oh shit that ending! Raylan just got super tough but it is needed, Wendy has to turn on that asshole of a brother and save her son.
But onto the main story, Boyd vs Raylan has to be the main focus on S6 now. They were so terrific throughout, whether it be in the van staking out the barn or at the end when Boyd lets Raylan's dirty little secret out.
Ava poor Ava, oh god I can't even cope now she was so close to getting out. Was delighted to see her and Raylan share two scenes together their first since S4, even when they aren't on the best of terms they have this great chemistry.
Other things I liked
+ Dewey Crowe my dumb dumb love, hey maybe he can get a cell with Dickie again?
+ Wynn Duffy at the beginning was cracking me up.
+ It sucks to work for Boyd Crowder or Wynn Duffy
+ American Hustle reference!
That was such an amazing episode, can't believe it is season finale time already next week.
I don't think it was shrugged off by the look on Rachel's face. I think they were just taking away any leverage Boyd thought he had. I'm sure Rachel will deal with Raylan later.
Since I saw American Hustle a couple months ago, I caught the "metal in the science oven" line that Rachel said in this episode. It made me chuckle a bit.
The end of this episode was crazy - so many game changing twists within a couple minutes of each other. Should be an interesting finale.
Jaw dropped when Boyd called Raylan out in front of everyone. Dropped again when Rachel and Tim backed him up. Curious how this is all going to play out. Probably going to be a very important element in the 6th and final season. Then my jaw dropped a third time when they told Darryl and Wendy that they're going to charge Kendall as an adult. And yeah.... I don't think I'd want to be on Darryl's bad side.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another solid episode. The finale is going to be sick ;-)

ReplyDeleteRaylan is through being the one to look the other way. I loved how he is being such a hard A$$.

Yep, I am stoked for the finale and I havent even watched the promo yet!
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting that the other two just shrugged off Raylan being involved in Nicky being killed.
ReplyDeleteNo telling just how ugly next week will wind up being.
