I liked the royals line in reference to Adalind being connected to Nick because it was his blood that took her powers away and she still supposedly has his blood in her so she can affect him. Interesting to see where they go with that. After what happened to Adalind and her baby it would interesting to see the two of them in some way connected by their blood and past actions.
I can see it already Adalind learns the truth and goes after Nick without knowing about Theresa. She steps in to defend Nick and chases Adalind away only before Nick confesses that the Royals don't have her baby that the Resistance took it away from them.
great set up ep... I felt bad for Adalind and get that she would be desperate and wanting to do anything to see Diana, but to become turncoat to Nick and co. seemed a bit quick, but there aren't many eps left so that's fine... I do like the possibilities of TRubel, I just hope that the writers don't make her the Faith to Nick's Buffy somewhere along the way.. I like the idea of her being Nick's padawan
I really hope Trubel sticks around for the long haul, she's an excellent character. I heard this woman is a rookie actress, very impressive and good potential.
A producer found her on a university campus (the university of his daugher) just to give some tv advices to the students, He totally wasn't looking for someone, he just stumbled across Jacqueline. I hope she stay a long time too.
Really loved Trubel, she was great, so was Jacqueline for her first acting job.
Gotta say, still don't feel sorry for Adalind. She can go crying to whoever she want, she still has to do ONE thing in her life for someone where she doesn't have some gain in it for her. If she find the baby, she would either raise her like her (to be as selfish as she can be) or end up using the baby for gains, again.
Do wonder what they meant about Adalind and Nick's ''connection''. Can she take his abilities away too? Is she gonna attack Nick on wedding's day in the finale?
If my memory isn't so bad, I believe they wanted to do just that but were waiting to see the actress, how she was gonna fit with the cast and the fans...hope everyone goes well :)
Agreed. She's got a spark to her as an actress and character. She'd fit in great as Nick's ward and as a way to further the show itself away from the stereotype of crime drama.
I'm honestly really liking the dynamic, and it's really impressive for non-established actors to suck yoi in like this. I have to say that there was something quite not hitting the spot on how she delivered her dialogue, but the actress was really superb in her expressions.
I think she's a bit green, but she really pops up in the screen like whoa, and I definitely want to see more of her, specially the possibility of Nick mentoring her, and Juliette mothering her XD
Also, I think I like Adalind as a character more and more, she is the definite wild card of this show and you just don't know where she is going!
I feel sorry for Adalind, they make a wrong decision take the baby of her like that, now she will cause trouble for Nick and maybe end up dead.
I about the new Grimm I like the Teresa, I hope she turn to be a regular next season, Nick needs more allies he can get, I think the war between him and the royals will be more often next season.
Lots of good bits. Couldn't figure out if Trubel is a good guy or bad guy - which I think was the intention. I felt so bad for Adalind. I think that they'd spent a few eps softening her up and consequently softening me up so that when she stumbled into Nick's house I didn't immediately think 'serves her right'. The most disquieting thing about the episode for me was the demand Viktor made of Adalind. My first thought was that the show now has a spare Grimm for Adalind's spell to kill.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I love Trubel already.

ReplyDeleteI loved how T Rubel is going to be a big head ache for Nick!

I read that.
ReplyDeleteShe's pretty good, I hope she's a potential addition to the cast.

ReplyDeleteWe are in for some Trubel.

I'm getting worried about Adalind. She's gonna do something...
ReplyDeleteAfter all the hype about Trubel I was quite surprised to find that she didn't know she was a Grimm
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for Adalind, they make a wrong decision take the baby of her like that, now she will cause trouble for Nick and maybe end up dead.

I still don't feel sorry for her either.
ReplyDeleteI like Trubel so far. This storyline should be interesting.
ReplyDeletePoor Adalind. Still pissed everyone did that to her, tbh. Will not blame her if she decides to go on a rampage.
Great episode!
Remember, Nick didn't know, either. His aunt Marie had to explain why he was seeing strange things.
ReplyDeleteI have a premonition that Wu will find out about Wesen when Rubel accidentally spills the beans, assuming he knows already.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah I know, I meant that they seemed to be saying how good she was and I took that to mean she was good at being a Grimm. If that makes sense?
ReplyDeleteI think Trubel is an interesting character so far. Not sure I'm sold on the nickname though.
