Excellent episode. Didn't see the suicide coming until the end of the bar scene, and even then I didn't think it would stick. She was finally starting to fit in, too...
It was wonderful until the last 2 minutes I understand killing off characters or writing them out for whatever reason but there was NO need for Jones leaving like that!
What was the purpose of having her on the show, she has contributed nothing, as neither did melissa ponzio or the ambulance girl. I think they've been wasted.
I really liked the episode but I have to say I'm not buying the whole suicide thing. I don't think it's in her character to kill herself just because her father didn't approve of her. A lot of people have problems with their parents. Some haven't talked to them in ages. They don't kill themselves. I know they did it because it moves forward the plot but it feels like a cheap way to make everyone feel guilty and have some angst for a couple of episodes. They could have thought of something better.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loveddd it sad that jones killed herself all because of her dad

ReplyDeleteExcellent episode. This show started as a time filler for me but has since become one of my few must watch.

ReplyDeleteAnd what the heck is up with Casey and Dawson? I thought they both wanted a new place, tho Casey's place is quite nice.
Can't wait for next week to find out what she wrote in the note to Dawson.
