I hate Emma, she's a hypocrite, why did she let Norman to yell at Cody like that?, why didn't she say anything like: hey easy, it was me who wanted to jump, she didn't shove me?, I definitely don't like her, now, contrary to this, I love Romero, and I feel like he has not enough time on screen, he's awesome!!, and finally more shirtless Dylan hehehe he has to come back to his family, otherwise I'll give a shit about his plot, the drugs issue is only interesting when is connected to Norma and her motel.
The fact that she likes or not Norman has nothing to do with being a reasonable person with values, she knew what she was doing, she jumped because she wanted to have fun and that's fine, the thing is that she should've said something to stop Norman, because she knew that Cody didn't force her to do anything, my point is that the writers try to portrait Emma as an innocent and educated girl, and with these kind of action she looks more like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, I don't know I just don't like her at all, I find her character completely out of place.
You have to take into consideration that she was fighting for breath during that scene. She was in shock because she almost died, and Norman saved her life and helped her when she was out of breath. Besides that, it's clear that she's in love with Norman and cares about him. She's the only person on the show who shows that kind of honest love, and I like that about her. It will be interesting to see how Norman will react to her revealing his secret to Norma. If he does end up killing her, that would be the most tragic thing ever (and that would be awesome).
This! She has a problem breathing to begin with, you can imagine what it must of been like .When your young you don't think about that, well, some people don't.Might have to do with a bit of reasoning.
Yours it's the one that makes no sense Emma wasn't fighting over Norman's love we were not talking about that, you brought that topic on, all I was saying that she should have said something at least the next day, she was who had to apologize to Cody the next day not the other way around, and the fact that someone is a teenager doesn't justified they can do whatever they want because they're in love and they're young to understand what's wrong and right, that's bullshit, because in that case then Caleb must be forgiven for raping his sister he was a teenager too and he couldn't think clearly.
These last 2 episodes have really started to move this show forward! I loved how it took the whole show to finally expose that Norman is having blackouts again and that Norma finds out exactly at the moment that Norman is ready to drive away to do his driving test...lol As a teenager, this must have been the worst moment possible for Norman to have your mother come and explain that you shouldn't be driving due to blackouts,,,yikes!!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI was right! I knew Norman would push Cody's dad down the stairs.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I like Norma/George or Norma/Romero more.
This was my favorite episode of the season! I'm glad it's starting to pick up because honestly, the last 2 episodes bored me.
Emma likes Norman, point blank. She doesn't care about Cody like she does Norman.

ReplyDeleteIt's realistic. When you are young and like someone you lose a sense of yourself. Your comment makes no sense.
