Re: Clark and Martha, I think Clark's drunkedness and melancholy attitude was intended to make Martha think he was upset about the tape. Really, he was upset about Paige/the murders he's committed, but he needed a good excuse for why to play it, and that he couldn't stand her not knowing how they really were worked.
Woah Emmy Submission episode for Matthew I feel, that was really great you could see his pain and feel his anger. I really worried the pastor guy was a goner!
Calling anyone interested, to discuss next week's episode's promo. The promo was intense and got me a excited. It's a bit quite in there so I am commenting here and there to get people interested
I really really liked the episode for me it was the best of the season. Matthew Rhys deleiverd one of his best performance. Philip really should feel upset and angry about what happened it always seems that everything goes wrong when he is on a mission and has to go to the point to kill innocent people, i was upset when he killed the tec guy on two episodes ago when they wanted to copy the data and i wonder if they ever feel bad about that and look at that... they answer my question in this episode. I could feel Philip's anger, pain and sadness about what happened.
What I got from the scene with Stan and his wife was that he was more surprised than upset that she was going to have an affair, that he just never expected that from her. I also thought that what upset him was the reality setting in that their marriage was over, that's got to be hard to take after being together for so long, even if you've been expecting it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I understand why Philip did it, but I don't get why Martha didn't ask Clark why he did so.
ReplyDeleteAnd ew at Stan getting all pissed that Sandra wants to have an affair. You don't get to do that when you've been cheating for a long time.
Aw at poor Philip not having an easy time of it now. Not surprised it all finally piled up on him.
This episode should be the Emmy submission for Matthew Rhys.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode. Matthew Rhys is amazing.

ReplyDeletePhilips eyes are so dark and cold, Martha is a hot mess, he does not even care anymore, he starts fights just to leave lol!
ReplyDeleteWell he was going to play the tape before. so clearly, having to think about his own morality, took him back to his initial cause.

ReplyDeleteWhat an episode this was. One emotional punch after the another. Grade 'A' episode.
