On wonder Finch is so upset and crying... Grace. You don't mess with Grace!
ReplyDeleteDon't mess with Grace, Greer! Sick Bear on him Finch! In fact, send Reese, Shaw, Root, Bear, and Fusco if Greer dares lay a hand on her!
ReplyDeleteYES! YES!! YES!!!! I have a feeling this is going to be epic but at the same time I am very afraid for Grace. Hope she survives.
ReplyDeleteSamaritan's feeds? Looks like Samaritan comes online in E20 itself. Wow!! If things are already this intense, then I cant even imagine the craziness in E22 and E23.
This looks intense. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteDon't you dare hurting Grace, Greer! Send everyone after him, Finch!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a good time for the machine to evolve and scare the living hell out of anyone who dares oppose it.
ReplyDeleteSynopsis is Awesome. The wait until it airs is not.
ReplyDeleteGiven Carrie Preston's credited in the press release of Episode 20, it could come up as early as the climax of that.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering why Greer puts so much importance on Finch. Is there part of a story we've not been told? Now that Greer has Samaritan why would he want Finch. Before he had Samaritan it was kinda because he wanted access to the Machine and thought Finch might actually have some. Maybe Finch hacked a system that belonged to Greer in the past, dunno it's just odd. Why would killing (from the Machines pov it assess that Finch will die but this is only based on intel it's gleened from it's many links) Finch solve anything, they must need him for something. Finch saves irrelevant numbers (used to irrelevant but relevant to the Machine to preserve it), why is that so bad. There must be something else that we don't know about it can't just be about the laptop.
ReplyDeleteIf Grace does bite it, I fully expect Finch to go all-Keamy over Greer!
ReplyDeleteIt would probably make Finch go "all in" with Root....
ReplyDeleteThat too.
ReplyDelete"You just killed everyone on that boat!"
'So?'
Did anyone else misread the name "Daniel K. Kim"? I did. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is no non-good time for that to happen.
ReplyDeleteI saw Kristoffer Cusick out of the corner of my eye, so I could only see Cusick... for a second I thought it was Henry Ian. And then it isn't...
ReplyDeleteI did to!
ReplyDeleteWould love to see Brotha Desmond on POI.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the word "Bodega" (Owner & Gunman) & immediately thought Elias.
ReplyDeleteWhat if the Machine came alive in the body of Desmond? Predicting the future and all that, as the Machine does in its ability to detect violent crimes before they happen.
ReplyDeleteThe show could use some time jumps, flashforwards et al.
ReplyDeleteWell, technically we do have time jumps (flashbacks count right?) and I'm sure we'll get some flashforwards soon ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like another good one!!
ReplyDeleteFinch is a threat - a very big one. Threats are eliminated. simple as that.
ReplyDeleteHeh. Fair enough, Bradley. Let me rephrase. This would be a very opportune time for the machine to evolve and scare the living hell out of anyone who dares oppose it. :)
ReplyDeleteYes it would. The Machine has been evolving since Day 1, but a rapid evolution like that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds incredible! I wonder if Reese and Shaw are gonna be able to help Grace, considering that they are being hunted, or if Finch will have to take matters into his own hands. Either way, this is gonna be crazy good!
ReplyDeleteThis will be a intense episode for sure.
ReplyDeleteDon't think it's as simple as eliminating a threat with Greer. He always has some hidden agenda. Bet some crossing-of-path's between Greer & Finch in the distant past is the root cause (similar to how it was almost revealed to Reese's former CIA partner Stanton moments before died that it was Finch who was responsible for the sale of that virus to the Chinese that led to the CIA pulling the rug on her & Reese)...there is always something connecting each of us.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Time to show that pushover "Samaritan" who exactly is the boss around here. Take the bugger by the neck and shake him (or her) until he admits that The Machine is the pack leader!
ReplyDeleteMore than anything I'm looking forward to seeing whether Grace & Finch finally meet again after all these years!
ReplyDeleteIt could go a long way to set the tone as to how the show'll end.
ReplyDeleteWe are approaching the season three finale...
ReplyDeleteI think what would be good is that Finch does get taken by Greer and Finch will use this as an opportunity to get close to Samaritan and re-write some of it's code to allow the Machine to get access to it, which would lead to the finale Deus Ex Machina. If both systems merge what new power will we have.
ReplyDeleteEvaluating options:
ReplyDeleteMitigate
Subvert
Monitor.....
Subvert, subvert, subvert
i wonder why there's a priest in this episode
ReplyDeleteIf Grace see's finch alive i wonder how she would react. I do hope she would understand why he faked his own death to keep her safe
ReplyDeleteFor Finch's sake, I fully expect the Machine to mitigate its enemy.
ReplyDeleteNotice that Samaritan could not run without a super powered chip, but Finch's machine doesn't need one. I suspect the 2 machines are different. That Finch added elements in his machine that Artie did not. Finch may have used some code that Artie developed but Finch did more things to his machine I suspect. Can't wait for Finch to fully join up with Root (who is the analog interface to his machine).
ReplyDeleteThe Machine is a closed system, you can't ask it, it tells you. Samaritan is open and would most likely need more power due to the nature of it's programming. The Machine uses information gathering to determine it's threats. Samaritan most likely would be "I want you to find me [insert name]." Samaritan number crunches looking, searching for key words to find anything connected to the person and produce a map to this person or a way to that person. It does the legwork, whilst the Machine lets us do the legwork, we just get them 9 numbers. Northern Lights had the "free will" to review the POI and act on any threat this person might have. Samaritan doesn't have this. "Find me Mr. Archibald Buttle" churn "Kill him." "er...sir...it should have been Archibald Tuttle!"
