I love this! More of their interaction, please:) Regina's taking baby steps with dealing with loss and pain but for me it is IC and I'm glad that she continues to do so even without Henry. I hope that one day she'll apologise to Snow as well but right now I find it verytelling that she didn't react with anger and later even tried to protect Snow:) Also,I liked that she thought about Zelena not only as "someone to destroy" but at least a bit like a member of a family.
Regina is also being rational, I like it. She is a smart woman after all when she is not blinded by rage. Not very smart though? Probably not many kings in FTL marry women who already have children from previous relationships....(it is FTL after all), so it is safe to assume that Cora gave Zelena up in oder to marry a good catch. Selfish, IMO.
Zelena should be mad at Cora, not Regina. Cora did it for herself, not purely for the sake of her future unborn child.
I've liked Snow and Regina's complicated relationship even since Season 1, and have been waiting for the show to finally give us more (meaningful) scenes with these two. The actresses bring such a great dynamic to their scenes together. I've loved the light touches of humor and that sense that they have known each other a long time (it's always great when family/friends/complicated actually act like it, instead of total strangers told to "act" it). This sneak peek is an especially poignant scene because they finally have that talk about Snow essentially killing Regina's mother. I'm looking forward to this scene, as well as what's going on behind that door.
This is a really sweet, necessary scene between Snow and Regina. They need to get these characters to hash out their issues and come to peace with each other's action in order to develop some bonds. This type of scene is a welcome change for the characters and has been sorely needed since at least the middle of season 2. This is almost convincing enough to make me start watching the show again.
AND Cora killed her nanny right in front of her AND Regina had her father killed and then tried to have her killed, so yes, it's very complicated. Not that I am defending Cora's murder even if she was going off he deep end before she died but still, it's good to keep these things in perspective.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Yes, Snow and Regina. I love this.
ReplyDeletesnow do not eat the apple, just in case.

Wow that was suspenseful with the door disappearing just after the conversation about Cora.
