First came “Man of Steel.” Next up is “Batman vs. Superman.” And then, “Justice League.”
Confirming the studio’s plans for a movie based on its iconic super-team for the first time, Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said the studio has set plans to make a “Justice League” movie.
Warner Bros. has several other movies in development unconnected to the Justice League that are based on DC superheroes and fantasy and crime titles from its Vertigo line of genre comics, said Mr. Silverman and Toby Emmerich, president of Warner’s New Line Cinema label. They include “Shazam,” “Metal Men,” “100 Bullets,” and “Fables.”

I'm so excited for this, Zack Synder is an amazing director, he creates breathtaking scenes. In Man of Steel his direction was brilliant , so I'm happy that he is behind Justice League. His cinematography and camera work can make Justice League epic in scale and a visual marvel. I enjoyed Man of Steel and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole directed by him.
ReplyDeletewith the reports that BM vs SM with include/introduce Cyborg and WW, DC is really trying to catch up with Marvel it seems.... I just hope that the plan will gel quickly and well, as it will be tough as they're breaking in a new BM, and I hope that Ben Affleck is up to the task and that the writers will craft a good plausible story for the BM and SM plots that wont feel like a rushed idea to get all these characters together... fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteThey'd better cast a better WonderWoman than Gal Gadot for the Justice League. Wonder Woman is athletic, not a stick figure.
ReplyDeleteNot even gonna start on the whole Ben Affleck situation.
I want Betty White to play Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteOnce again: DC wants all the benefits of a shared universe without any of the planning or legwork. You can't just continually reboot your universe and hope people get invested in it anyway.
ReplyDeleteFables would be an interesting movie choice --- but I think it would work better as a TV Series.
ReplyDeleteAnd still Snyder is in charge. Seriously. Like why?
ReplyDeleteI would watch the Justice League movie and The Flash movie :)
ReplyDeleteThe Avengers was successful because Marvel did the work to establish all the franchises first. It seems DC wants to just rush it to cash in on them Avenger dollars. Not a good idea imo. And Snyder. Why God why?
