    There's been a lot of teasing by the producers about Felicity's lineage. With how much they talk it up, it had better be good. Also, I somehow think Laurel will have a subdued reaction to the fact that Oliver is the Arrow.

    I think that once she get's past the initial shock, she'll sit down and think back to all the little hints and clues and she'll think "how the hell didn't I see this sooner", just like we do, lol.

    Ok, I didn't read the Felicity part, but as for Laurel, will we REALLY be surprised by her reaction?? IDTS..I mean it's gonna be 1. Of 4 things. One, She won't believe what Slade told her. Two, she'll believe what Slade told her and Confront Ollie about it. Three, she'll go to Sara and tell her. Or four, she'll find out about Sara too, and want to Join the Arrow Cave.

    So that's my two cents. Idt i can get "surprised" over any of those, if those are one of her reactions. Personally idt she should've been the one to find out. But w/e. What's done is done.

    I don't think it has to be someone we met already. I cant think of any memorable personalities from season 1 they could connect Felicity with. Although maybe they could say Fyers is Felicity's dad and then everybody has a connection to that freaking island and it can be wrapped all with a pretty bow (please don't do it writers). And he would be yet another person who Oliver believed is dead.
    I would rather believe that it might have to do with her being Jewish. And they gonna connect her with one of the Jewish characters (hero/villain ) in the DC universe.

    Yeah, the only way Laurel's reaction could surprise me is if she gets angry and decides to join Slade. But since that's not going to happy, otherwise why would her fans love her more, I don't get why they're talking this up.

    Lol yeah. I just keep thinking they are going to base her backstory on something we learned about her in season 1. And her being Jewish is the one thing that keeps popping up in my mind. But then they will probably go in the direction how would Felicity's backstory have an major impact on Oliver and his "man-pain".
