    My guess is SyfY is ending Haven and instead of doing two season pick up they decided to make it 22 episodes splitting into two yr airing span. As we know Syfy never lets a drama show go beyond season 5 only stupid lame reality shows can lol

    Yeah, I agree. With an extended, split (and Final) 'season' Haven S5 SyFy avoids any contract negotiation issues as they had to do for the cast of Eureka, which resulted in a shortened S6.

    Oops, I meant that that SyFy was supposedly set to renew Eukeka fot S6 and rather abruptly decided against it and wrapped up S5 hastily. (Syfy would have to negotiate contracts for S6 - I remember reading about the issue as a Eureka fan)

    I miss Eureka so much I just finished a Eureka marathon two days ago which made me rewatch season 4 of Haven, GOD I really miss Eureka :(

    I'm waiting until the later summer/early fall to binge re-watch the first 4 seasons of Haven again even though Comcast is re-airing bits of S4 Haven now.
