The whole point of the show is seeing how far Will can go into Hannibal's game without becoming a monster himself. He has conscience of what he is doing and he let's Hannibal push his buttons with ulterior motives (namely trying to prove who Hannibal really is), but that doesn't mean he is left unaffected. This is his toughest challenge yet, because he actually had to kill someone (although in self-defense).
The remaining episodes will probably revolve around how this kill affects him, and how Hannibal tries to seduce him into becoming a killer. Whether or not he will succeed remains to be seen.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This is supposed to be the episode where Will finally has sex. Maybe he'll lighten up, but somehow I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteSo, is Will baiting Hannibal with a fake descent in madness?
ReplyDeleteObviously he can't just fake it. He has ulterior motives but he really enjoyed it to kill that animal-killer with his own hands.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Lounds and Mason Verger are going to help Will to see the positive side of his buddy Hannibal.
