Taste of Hannibal: Ep. 210 "Naka-Choko" airdate May 2 at 10/9c.
The next mouthwatering course is ready to come out of the macabre kitchen that is this season. The episode's title, "Naka-Choko," refers to another dish in a prototypical Japanese feast, a course intended to once again cleanse the palate. But in the case of Friday's new episode, don't be disappointed if you're left with a rather unsettling aftertaste.
That uncomfortable feeling will likely come as you realize Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is sinking deeper and deeper into Hannibal's abyss. Our man-beast (Mark O'Brien) and his deadly exoskeleton remains on the prowl; Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) and his patient/protege, Will, just can't stand to watch the animal cruelty continue. The SPCA could conceivably be proud of their efforts at justice, even if Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) is rightfully suspicious of Hannibal and Will suddenly becoming birds of a feather.
And there's more terror down on the farm. Mason Verger (guest star Michael Pitt) has an animal act in the works that could turn even a committed carnivore into a vegetarian. His sister Margot (Katharine Isabelle) has every right to share her family fears with her therapist, Dr. Lecter.
Look for Freddie Lounds (Lara Jean Chorostecki) to come lurking around this week too, on the prowl for any kind of connection to Will Graham that could help her land a juicy story. As usual, she's got the curiosity of a cat; let's just hope she hasn't used up her nine lives.

This sounds terrific! I wonder if they will off Freddie?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. Freddie is probably safe until around half of season four. Also was hoping that Michael Pitt will be series regular, and not a guest star. Maybe his meeting with dogs will take place as early as this season finale?
ReplyDeleteI think Freddy Lounds dying this season is very possible, because Bryan Fuller proved with Chilton that he can go off book! Do you really think Mason will peel his face off this season? It's possible, but then I hope he isn't aronund next season :D maybe S4 or 5. But I am very afraid that this is the last season :( I hope Hannibal can burst the bubble and stay on air for at least S3 and hopefully S4 (Red Dragon saga) and Fifth and Final Season :) I don't want this awesome series to end on a cliffhanger! I want to buy the whole series on DVD when it ends ! If these ratings stay the same always and people won't discover it I can only see S3 in the future :(
ReplyDeleteChilton is in a coma. Not dead. But I'm still optimistic that Hannibal will have a first and last therapy session with Freddie "the unpoliteness" Lounds.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember anyone mentioning Chilton on Hannibal after he was shot, I guess it just went through me cause I didn't think about him anymore :D Who said he's in coma? I would like to see Hannibal kill Freddie rather than Francis Dolarhyde and I think that might hallen this season, but who know: Maybe Mason rapes and kills her or she goes into hiding and doesn't return in some time ! + I am happy about 1.0 ! Much better than 0.8 and I will be much happier if the rest of the season is 1.0 or has even a 1.1 !
ReplyDeleteI believe so. Remember some spoilers way back that a character is going to die in E10 and that character is a female.
ReplyDeleteChilton was mentioned in the next episode early on (by Crawford, I believe) and it was in the present tense. Still not sure if he's a live or dead myself, but I do recall that.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Friday.
