    i think the hands thing is Hannibal gaining more control over Will, like back towards the end of season 1 when he was at the height of his control over will. This time, however, Will knows exactly Hannibal's game and is allowing it for him to fall into a false sense of security. My hopeful side wants to believe it has to do with Hannibal's undeniable affection for will as well but I'm not gonna jump overboard before the episode airs like I did an hour ago when I first saw the still.

    Someone suggested maybe Will was stuck in a "empathy vision" moment and Hannibal was trying to get him to snap out of it. But yeah, Hannibal getting hands on with Will has always been ominous- the hand on the shoulder when Will agreed to keep Abigail's secret, the face touching in Roti when Will was having his seizure...
