Hannibal - Episode 2.07 - Yakimono - New Promotional Photo and Episode Teasers

Thanks to Titania1000 for the heads up.

Here's a taste of what to expect from the next episode of Hannibal, airing April 11 at 10/9c.

Another twisted tale of retribution, recrimination and remembrances of crimes past comes calling when Hannibal returns all new this Friday at 10/9c. The creators have titled the upcoming episode "Yakimono," a reference to grilled and pan-fried dishes served as part of a traditional Japanese banquet.

Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) finally throws off the shackles of Chilton's asylum, thanks to the reappearance of Miriam Lass (Anna Chlumsky). Jack (Laurence Fishburne) and Will are both quite anxious to learn what she knows of her time in captivity. But did Hannibal succeed in so fogging her brain, too, that she can't pin the tail on the dastardly doctor? Repressed memories are a specialty of psychiatrists, so the smart wager is always on the shrink.

Expect a fresh grilling for our friend Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) who, despite being the victim of an assassination attempt and the subject of a murder investigation, just seems to want to carry on with his professional calling: helping others. But his old friend, Will, may be beyond help at this point and there's no doubt that the doctor and the patient have some painful relationship issues to work through. That is, if Will doesn't kill Hannibal first.

As usual Dr. Chilton (Raul Esparza) has his own issues. After being so wrong for so long about Will, Chilton's ready for a religious conversion. Will he unravel the true identity of The Ripper? Maybe, but as we've seen before, anyone who thinks he can skin that cultured cat known as Hannibal Lecter should beware. The doctor has at least nine lives and when it comes to playing cat and mouse, we generally know who ends up being eaten.
