NOTE: Please be advised that English is not my first language.

Hi everybody! This is my first review for Grimm, so I hope you'll be kind with me.
In "The law of sacrifice", Nick joins forces with her mom Kelly in order to keep Adalind and her baby safe. The only chance they and captain Renard have is to trust Nick. Finding a safe place to stay, Nick and Kelly take them to Rosalee and Monroe's house. The reunion is awkward for everyone, as the soon-to-be-bride & groom are not so happy to see Adalind, the baby and Renard. Especially Kelly and Renard, they have some unresolved questions (he tried to kill her sister because she was a Grimm). Nick's mom promises him she's gonna do everything she can to keep the baby safe.
Why is the little baby with evil-purple eyes - whose name is Diana, like the goddness of the hunt and the moon - so important? Diana's special powers attract both Royals and the Resistence.

Adalind is still trying to fit in her role to be a good mother, and you can feel her after what she's been through. The essence of the episode is around the sacrifice; as Kelly Burkhardt states "Sometimes we have to sacrifice what we love the most", we take a look into Nick's mom past as a mother and Adalind's present. Kelly has her chance to make up with the mistakes from her past, because back then she was forced to leave Nick to her sister, feeling she couldn't keep him safe. It's up to her to make Sean Renard understand the importance of sacrifice for the ones you love. Meanwhile, Adalind finds out Kelly killed her mom because of new evidences in her case. While the two are having a conversation, Sean brings Diana to Viktor, knowing the importance of the sacrifice... giving his baby away. When Adalind realizes what's happening, the scream she let out is heartbreaking. Just when she tought she could have her family reunited, all her world crashes like glass. Even if you hate her, you can't help but feeling sorry for her.

In the end, it's revealed it's been a plan well organized by Nick, Kelly, Hank, Monroe and Renard: give Diana to Viktor and then take her back. The group stops Viktor from flying with his airplane saying they're from the Resistance - even speaking in a quite good German - and take Diana back. Funny scene when Monroe asks about his own German to Hank but the only answer he receives is "I believe it", "But you don't speak German..." In the final scene, Sean hands his daughter to Kelly, knowing the sacrifice is necessary to keep her baby safe from the Resistance and the Royals. Also, Kelly has a chance to make up with her past as a mother: now she can raise a child without abandoning him\her.

In the next episodes I expect to see Adalind looking for the truth about her daughter's disappearance - she thinks Sean actually gives her to Viktor, but also we'll meet a new Grimm in town. Stay tuned!
