I think that too, not in a romantic way. I hope so! "All you have to do is say yes" is something Owen once said to her in season 5... I hate Burke and the writers for that line..
Grey's will definitely be a different show without Sandra Oh. She is my favorite character and, IMO, the one has been more consistently interesting throughout the series. But I do understand her reasons for leaving. All I hope is they give her a good last episode and an exit based on what she built her life around, her work, and not some guy who left her at the altar and came back seven years afterwards asking for forgiveness.
One other thing: I find it interesting that they allowed Isaiah to come back for this. We all know he left under some very problematic circumstances, but it is refreshing to know there are people willing to give him a second chance, and most importantly that he is willing to admit his mistakes and give it another try.
I agree with you all. She is going to join him at the hospital where he is Chief of Surgery. And, I think it's because of the Harper Avery thing, finding out she can't receive it because of her affiliation with the hospital.
I'm sure he wants her for some project/his hospital/something very important to the future of medicine, but DAMN, it's nice seeing him again. I've grown to love Owen and Cristina together, but seeing this promo? I couldn't stop grinning. No matter how fucked up the Burke and Cristina relationship got, I think I'll never stop liking them as a couple. Alas, I hope that Cristina takes him up on his offer and goes to some Miracle Cardio Paradise where she'll be the rockstar SHE IS.
So, Cristina leaving, someone can get her part on the hospital, right? Now, will it be Karev or Amelia??? Or maybe she don't sell her part, she just pass over for Karev and he doesn't hve to leave. You know... They re amazing friends, he completes the trinity of the badass interns, right?
Yes, Cristina is definitely great character. But I'm also very fond of Amelia, and at this point I think it's the best sort-of-replacement. I only wish that James could join Amelia, I love them together. But obviously that won't happen...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So the title refers to Burke and not Owen. And gross that he'd want another chance after seven years.
ReplyDeleteIm pretty sure he wants her to join him at his hospital or something like that
ReplyDeleteI know that after what he did it's wrong, but I wouldn't mind if she left with him and, in time, they got back together.

ReplyDeleteit's a misleading trailer, he wants her a partner for some reaserch, or at an hospital where he is the chief...
ReplyDeleteShits going down next week and can't wait for it!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for this episode!
ReplyDeleteI really don't think that he classifies as the 'love of her life'

ReplyDeleteWow. I didn't think that lame ABC promo would work on ppl. Apparently it did. LOL.
ReplyDeleteOMG ABC! What a lame promo. You're not fooling anyone into thinking he wants her back.
ReplyDeleteAnd saying that he's the love of her life?! Give me a break.

ReplyDeleteHe left her on the altar, he made her lie to save his career. Nothing can get me thinking he's anywhere worth of Cristina
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing for Cristina to sell. She isn't a share holder, she's a member of the board.

ReplyDeleteSoon after they bought the hospital she said she owned it, so, I think she is a co owner.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, I completely forgot about the money from the airplane lawsuit.
