    Does anyone recall that Christina's research is not unique? She used the research/idea from an article by a group of scientists in Japan... perhaps the award committee didn't think that her work was original enough

    I think the reason is that no one from Grey Sloan will ever win a Harper Avery because of the fact that the Foundation is the majority shareholder of the hospital. and there is a conflict of interest.

    I'm just not sure I see it fitting in with anyone else- I though Bailey and Ben but then the Bubble Boy storyline is taking over there and Calzona look to be headed for 'devastating' news so you may be very right. But we didn't see a hormonal/ragey leadup with Merder last pregnancy
