Very cool, I love the music in FS.
ReplyDeleteCan you take us through the process of when you start working on the music for an episode. Do you get the early dailies and to get an idea or do you start preparing before that via the scripts?
How long typically does it take you to score an episode.
How do you record the music ie what software do you use eg Cubase, Logix etc
What happens to the music if a scene is trimmed. Do you need to adjust the whole recording or do you simply "cut" at the point of the scene trim.
What has been your favourite episode to score and why?
How has your music and process changed since you first started scoring Falling Skies as to how you do it now, have you changed your techniques, software, process etc?
Obviously you have seen a lot of the episodes. How excited are you for the new season? Are there any teasers you can share with us.
What are the big changes ahead for Ben,Tom,and Anne in particular ?
ReplyDeleteIs there going to be more of Lourdes this season?
ReplyDeleteWhat was the massive score moment of season 4 (if any) and are you looking forward to the fans seeing it?
Hello! I was wondering, since you have two main alien species to deal with, do you have certain themes/instruments/etc. you use for each to make them distinct from each other? What are the challenges of doing that while still keeping a similarity between them because they both are extra terrestrial? Thanks!
