“For Better or Worse” -- Castle and Beckett's long-awaited wedding is almost here, but when a shocking surprise threatens to ruin the big day, they are sent on a wild mission filled with masked men, angry bikers and a charming ne'er-do-well from Beckett's past (guest star Eddie McClintock, “Warehouse 13”), on “Castle,” MONDAY, MAY 12 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

ReplyDeleteI think (must admit that partly based on logic, which is a contradiction in itself in case of this show), that AM@Co will postpone the Big Day to the next season. All the interviews, the way how the show is driven leads to the point where the Big Summer Cliffhanger will be whether they will have the the wedding (here, there, then, now - take it from the finale) or not? HUUUUUUUUUGE question, because there are two options:
ReplyDeleteA) it will be instantly resolved in the season opening (if the fandom's outcry will be very loud and negative)
B) it will be postponed for another season to be concluded a year from now if the InMarloweWeTrust cult will be loud enough to stop the criticism.
You are probably right because we are shortly before the wedding and so many questions arent answered yet. And it wouldnt be Marlow if there wouldnt be a HUGE cliffhanger - I think thats part of what I love about the show. He always shocks me, he always makes me cry watching the finale and be angry with him. All within the last 15 minutes usually. No, the last 5.
ReplyDeleteMarlowe"s flair for the exciting finale doesnt play here. He has had a season to prepare and done practically nothing so putting it off till sept. will cost him big time. I love the blacklist and tape it know but if Marlowe is too interested in his pilot for Phillip marlowe series, Castle will be done. Heck I would buy the show if he was not interested anymore. I still think there is plenty of stories left for Castle and these last 4 episodes are playing with the public. Big screw up by dragging this out this long. But I am waiting to see if he does it right and moves forward instead of sideways. And bringing back at the 23rd hour a person from Beckett<s past absolutely ridiculous.

ReplyDeletei really hope that the wedding will take place in the finale,and that there will be a season 7 and many more,because castle is the best tv show i ever have been seen,from the first season i watched every episode,but there are a lot of speculations on internet about stana katic leaving castle,i have reading a post of a site where people are saying that beckett will die in the season 6 finale,i hope that is not for real and that its just a rumour or speculation.so i am hoping for a wedding and a season 7 with three caskett babies and a senator beckett,and not to see a mr an mrs castle for a few minutes and then mrs castle will be gone
