A man she has been watching?? Yet someone else we don't know about? Oh man... aaah!! *bites nails*
ReplyDeleteOh shit. This is going to end badly.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she's been keeping this a secret from Castle too?
ReplyDeleteI hope Beckett has a good explanation to captain gates.......she got to tell her about mom death and the link to the senator.......she already got suspended once already
ReplyDeleteAbc should skip 6x20 and air this one :P
ReplyDeleteif this is true Beckett has a right to investigation and pretend she has no idea it connects to her mom
ReplyDeleteReally don't think Cap Gates will take any action against her, I think this time they will trust her and she will help them and she already knows the connection to the Senator. Beckett outright said to a suspect in Recoil that the Senator killed her mother while Gates was watching. Castle tried to cover it up a little but she is smart, I'm sure she has it figured out.
ReplyDeleteWell, the synopsis does say "a man she's been watching." It doesn't say 'they' and this is something Castle would want to be a part of because he wouldn't want her pursuing this alone. So, there is a chance he doesn't know.
ReplyDeleteActualy she doesnt have the right because they know vulcan simmons is connected to her mothers killing and because of the history between them gates is never gonna allow beckett too investigate it.
ReplyDeleteI really hope not. She has always trusted him about her mother's case and now they are more solid than ever together. I hope there is no drama stirred up because of this. It should instead focus on the drama surrounding her mom's case.
ReplyDeleteshe only know in the belly of the beast the money is funding someone political campaign. It would not that hard to figure who is it
ReplyDeleteGates aint stupid she has her idea's about all of this and maybe in the end she will look away but i think at the start gates will the cop she mostly is straight out of the books and no side stepping.
ReplyDelete"Secret investigation"? Well we all know how her last secret investigation went...with her knocking at death's front doors. Hope she is more prudent this time...apparently though not prudent enough given that a guy is dead already!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I knew this would be a good one.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. I want this episode now.
ReplyDeleteOh God, poor Beckett. This last straw of her life happiness remains in the balance and let's hope something good finally comes in solving Johanna Beckett's murder.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I am excited about the last two eps, I really hope they wrap up this Bracken storyline soon. It's really getting out of hand and I'm bored with it.
ReplyDeleteIt ends with Bracken being led away in handcuffs!
ReplyDeleteVulcan Simmons will appear dead too!!! i'm so excited too see this episode!!!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say I'm bored with the Bracken storyline. After all it started out as Kate's mother's murder case in Season 1 and not as the 'Bracken storyline', meaning it is one of the overarching plots of the show and especially after the events in 'In the Belly of the Beast', I am more hyped up about the storyline that ever before.
ReplyDeleteStill you are right on the fact that it should be ended this season because it has been going on for quite some time, though Andrew Marlowe and the writers have handled it brilliantly, meaning that Castle is quite often at it's very best when focusing on Kate's mother's murder (Knockout, Knockdown, Always, In the Belly of the Beast, Sucker Punch were some very high quality, high tension & tight episodes for example).
I think it got a bit out of control. I wish politicians and drug lords weren't involved. They should have just kept it simple. All the eps that you mentioned (bar In the Belly), were all great eps because they kept it simple and small - in the sense that it didn't involve the potential President of the US. *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, I'm more interested in the 3XK storyline than this.
Much as I enjoyed this whole Beckett's mother thing, I really think it's time to bring it to a close. I mean, it worked exceptionally well as a plot device for nearly five years, delivering mind-blowing twists, turns, and suspense, but I really feel like it's starting to become a little drawn. I think they should either take Bracken down by the end of this season or simply acknowledge that (as often happens with bad guys of his magnitude in the real world) the man is just going to be the big one that got away. To me, it just doesn't have the same gravity it used to. Beckett has learned her lesson about revenge and obsession and she's obviously willing to, at least to some extent, put that case behind her and move on with her life, finding new forms of happiness and contentment.
